So this afternoon I kept updating my browser waiting to read that we started the fire sale. But nothing happened.
Now what? I can only imagine the locker room must be toxic towards Gase. Did Douglas inherit the mess of a lifetime? Before we unload a player of Adam's talent, I want to see the front office unloaded. Why would we want to trade Adams? so we can get a draft pick and hope we select another Adams? This coaching staff sucks. Start by trading the coaching staff, I;m sure we'll get some brooms and rags in return.

Luckily, Adam Gase is an absolute champ at assuaging hurt feelings. Word has it that after all the trade talk, Gase is sending Adams and Robbie Anderson for a semi-all expenses paid spa day in Paterson, NJ. Throwing in the bus fare to the place and back, too.

trading adams would have given douglas the opportunity to draft two 1st round picks (ours & the cowboys) on the OL.. i would had done it..

still holding out hope gase hasn't already ruined darnold, or won't by season's end..

trading adams would have given douglas the opportunity to draft two 1st round picks (ours & the cowboys) on the OL.. i would had done it..

then you trade down or flat out take a kid/kids higher on the board then you would like to in the perfect world the jets don't live in..

I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait until after the draft but after watching the debacle he hosted today I've pretty much lost the little bit of faith I had in him.

Mac was a former scout/personnel guy and apparently he couldn't evaluate or draft worth a shit (Adams aside). So watching this tenure after tenure, we haven't really been able to draft since Parcells retired and seeing the idiot who just hired this damn circus, I'm not holding out hope of him doing this right.
