I agree that he probably price tag on Adams that no one would pay. It's very clear he likes Adams and wants to keep him. GM's have "speak" about players. His description of Adams was unequivocal in his praise for him - mission statement player. That speaks volumes. You don't say that publicly unless you mean it.
After that I would not let him press my suits

At this point why wouldn't you take calls on every player. Reports yesterday were that every player except for Darnold and Q. Williams was up for grabs. Well no one is stepping up and doing there part, including coaches, GM, other team personnel and the owners. I honestly don't want to say that its never been this bad because I probably be lying but it feels like it. As far as the players go, whether it's because they need others players to help them preform better or they just don't want it bad enough or their not good enough or they don't like the HC.
Whatever it is, none of our players (including Darnold and Q. Williams) are playing well enough to not warrant hearing any trade calls on them. Could the situation have been handled differently, I don't know and I don't care really but something has to be done. Whether some or all the players go or the coaches or the GM or the damn owners themselves. Something has got to change for the better here. The shit just ain't fair to all us fans who spend all our time, energy and thousands of dollars on team gear, tickets, direct TV etc...

I listen to the entire presser. He made a couple of arsine statements that boarder on being delusional. The first, when he replied to a reporter (probably NY Daily news) who asked how he felt about his team being non competitive. His response was he thinks his team is competitive.... The second was he things AG is a good FB coach.... Say what Joe…. we talking about the same coach who is 1-6 here and 24-32 overall, 25 of which have been double digit losses - think about that, he lost more games by double digits than he has won...

That part got me, too. Douglas said Gase is a “great coach and a great communicator”. LMFAO! Shill much? Go find me the players on Miami from last year and this year's Jets who would agree with this ridiculous appraisal of Gase.
