OkOK but tell me about the O line...
Darnold's thumb injury is to his non throwing hand , and it happened late second qtr vs Jax.Darnold does look a little shell shocked - but for any QB playing under this much duress the past two games, that would be true. It's been a disaster. Plus, he has a thumb injury on his throwing hand - so that doesn't help either.
Look guys - you heard Douglas say it - Darnold is a franchise QB. He's right when he said look at the Dallas game. I was there. He was brilliant. Played almost a flawless game - one bad throw. He made every throw imaginable - touch passes, deep bombs, out routes, back shoulders, screens, throws into very tight windows, anticipation throws, throws on the move. You saw it all. It was really impressive. Now, he needs to be more consistent, but his skill set is right at the top of the league in terms of the young QBs. He just needs help - an o-line that can actually block, an offensive game plan that protects him until they can, a running game, and a #1 WR.
I think they have a good kid in Sam. Like my fellow Jet fans, I hope and pray a lot that a miracle will happen and we'll finally someday get good coaching. I stick to my theory that all these kids on the Pats and Jets come from the same colleges. Why do their kids succeed and ours flounder? Could it be poor coaching staffs that can't draft, prep, or train? Seems like it.

The protection is beyond bad. We can't expect him to perform well under the constant pressure.
Fortunately we have a bunch of games against the worst teams in the league. This should give the team a chance to protect him and give Darnold an opportunity to grow. If he struggles, we should probably shut him down for the rest of the season. No reason to risk further damage.
Honestly, Miami should be an easy win. They are doing everything possible to lose. They even got Fitzy.....Still tho, the other hand is used. We should shut him down now & see if Fitzy would strap on a vest & b r suicide qb
Cigar store Indians would be an improvement. Harder to move and better communication skills.yes look at the pats with three ol out injured great coaching & they still win.....we have cigar store Indians on our staff & OL
Sorry, I didn't see it.Hi Tony, yes, I commented on his injury earlier.
what is wrong with our receivers? haven't they learned you come back to the QB if he's in trouble?
isthis team has nobody
There's a lot we still don't understand about @butterscotch but because of your monthly donations, scientists work tirelessly to figure it all out.49ers now 8-0, Jed York gave Lynch and Shanahan 6 year contracts and told them to sort it out. Compare this with the Jet fan philosophy of replacing the HC every 8 games.
Good effort by the Crads btw, can't understand how Butters can compare them to the Jets.

AG record is 13-25. He has double digit loses in 25 games. His teams are - as you have seen this year - ill prepared and at time inept. His primary responsibility was to develop SAM and frankly SAM doesn't even resemble the same QB he was during the last four games of 2018 season where he had the best QBR. he should be fired because the team is dysfunctional... when you bets O player says guys do not know ow to line up or know their assignments ...that my friend is BAD COACHING.
Pencils have erasers for a reason...
