He cannot make adjustments. This lose was on Williams though. They made Fitz look like Brady..... The bigger question now is that it looks like we may be in store for the numero uno pick...... perhaps trade Darnold and take Tua... no way to I trust Gase to develop him. He has gotta go. Don’t care how many coaches they are paying If the Johnson idiots take that stance, then they don’t want win and don’t deserve us as fans

I would certainly NOT be fine if he isn't fired....
This is a total dumspter fire at this point.
We stuck with the previous clown Bowls for FOUR years after anyone with average football knowledge saw at end of year 1 that he couldn't make in-game adjustments and was completely clueless on the sideline with timeouts and challenges. Here comes 2019, so we hire the "QB whisperer", and we have to watch this horror show?? This blockbuster mini series of Idzik, Macc, Bowles and Gase set this franchise back to ground zero. I do hope Douglas, as a "football man", can hit the jackpot at the draft for at least a couple of years and hire a good coach because we desperately need those to happen.

This shit show is entirely unacceptable, Chris Johnson needs to be as upset or even more than the fans.
There is absolutely nothing Gase can say that could possibly save his job.
His after game presser, he continued to blame penalties for his shit offense. While the penalties do hurt, which is a sign of lack of discipline, that’s on the coach as well, Gase can’t adjust to shit.
Greg Williams is fuckin up to, but he is down to practice squad lbers and CB, except for the dumbest CB in the NFL(Roberts)
Joe Douglas, go into C Johnson’s office and tell him to put you at the head of the spear.
Clean house and pick your HC and be the head of all operations related to football.

None of us envisioned a playoff team - well maybe some did - before the season but IMHO this team has totally regressed... how can you make a Todd B coached team look good? The answer is let AG coach the team. .

I believe and have believed that AG was a bad choice because of his W-L record and how his teams played using his schemes. Christ - sorry God - even the B-team announces today stated how the Miami team started well and slowing and inevitably became bad under his tutelage. If they do not fire him asap then I feel SAM may never recover.... just my 2cents.

I didn't want Gase when we hired him. But I was willing to give him a chance. He's had 8 weeks. And we've seen some of the worst football we've ever watched as Jet fans - and that's saying something. A good coach would have this team competitive every week. A good coach would have this team prepared to beat the worst team in football. But here's reality, the Jets are the worst team in football, and that starts with the Head Coach. This guy is no offensive guru, nor is he a QB whisperer.

I don't think it's going to happen - but he should be fired tomorrow. I don't think he's going to be fired this offseason either. But he should be fired, immediately.

Hiring him was a bad decision, keeping him will be a worse one. In business we have a saying, if you're going to fail, fail fast. The reason is so that you can change course and not cost the company money by continuing to invest in something that isn't working. Well, this isn't working, and it's not going to work. Fail fast Christoper Johnson and fire this guy now. Start over. Go get McCarthy, or Harbaugh, or Urban Meyer, or the coach from Stanford, or Lincoln Riley, or Eric Bienemy or Kris Richard. Go get a guy that knows how to win.

I don't like saying any of this - but today was just inexcusable. This team isn't just bad, it's epically bad. And our franchise QB is regressing. Sorry, but this isn't working, time to move on. It was a bad hire. Jet fans will respect ownership more for being decisive and not throwing gasoline on this dumpster fire by keeping the HC around any longer.

I've seen enough of Gases' brand of Football to know.....truer words have never been spoken. Johnson need to own up to his mistake and he will at least be respected for making a tough decision.

If Johnson sticks it out with Gase he will have lost my respect, and probably that of most Jet fans.

I don't know what Adam Gase did or said that got him hired.......maybe i don't want to know.
