Gase upset at Guard Brian Winters

Coach Adam Gase wasn't thrilled that G Brian Winters yelled at QB Sam Darnold after the botched shotgun snap/safety, in view of everyone, but Gase added: "We'd rather not (have that) go on, but sometimes you have to hash through things." (Courtesy: The Michael Kay Show, ESPN New York).

oh no here we go again Gase trying to protect his baby under center but how bout calling plays that work, and get this kid's head back into the game then worry about other players turning on OUR franchise qb.

But Gase is fine with Darnold snapping at Winters 3 times. Twice on the sideline and walking away from the rest of the offense, pouting like a bitch all by himself....
Don't know how much was shown on the TV but it was an embarrassment to watch.

Sam is the puppet for the puppeteer Gase, so when you bark at Sam really you are barking at Gase and that is really why he was pissed...

Winters has a right to yell at Sam, because they are suppose to be working together to snap the ball... Sam can bark all he wants but like Gase he is going to lose the locker room and that will be all she wrote...

Gase needed a season off to reflect and maybe see he was the problem. Hiring him right away just reinforced his belief that everyone else is to blame for his failures.

Offensive linemen don't have a 'right' to yell at the QB. The QB is the leader and that is just the way it is. Not as if Winters is speaking from a position of perennial Pro Bowl appearances.

when the QB is an extension of the HC/OC/Play Caller and this QB is incapable of checking himself into the game when he is suppose to be the leader then any player not just an offensive lineman has the right to jump at him...

accountability, HC>OC>PC>QB when these people are not doing their jobs and the HC owns the GM and the two owners are clueless then someone needs to point the fucking finger since they don't listen to the fans...
