Le'Veon Bell understood the Jets listening to offers for him at the trade deadline. The running back was less understanding about his lack of touches in Sunday’s 29-15 loss to the Jaguars.
Bell saw only nine carries and three receptions.
He said he texted coach Adam Gase after the game and later vented his frustrations in a conversation with the coach.
Bell, who has a career-low 3.2 yards per carry and only one touchdown, said he and Gase are “fine.”
“I expressed the way I felt to coach Gase and things like that,” Bell said. “We had a good little talk. I want to be one of the main reasons for helping the team win. I don’t like not being used and we end up losing the game. I felt like I couldn’t help my team out.
“So we had that conversation. Hopefully, things are better from here on out. Obviously, I want to help my team win. That’s why I came here in the first place. I want to be involved and I want to help the team win games. I’m not upset at all if I’m not touching the ball and we’re winning, but we haven’t been winning, and I haven’t been able to help. That’s why I had to express a little bit, but we’ll be fine.”
Gase took the blame for not getting Bell more involved, and Bell expects to be a bigger part of the game plan this week against the Dolphins’ 31st-ranked run defense.
He said he has no regrets about signing with the Jets in free agency.

A few more & you will be seeing them tooOk. I'm sure Butter probably mentioned ghosts again. Grabbing another beer
There were two we could have signed last off season. Zadarius and Preston Smith. Those 17 sacks would be nice and the pressure would have covered up the corners. You’re not getting a FA edge rusher ........ they never become available I say ER in round 1, OL in 2 and both picks in 3 Then CB in 4
you are still dreaming that this mess can be fixed in one offseason.
that's easy..And how many times are they goin sell the shit --
We need time for our guys 3-5 year rebuild blahahahahahaha
Oh next year or 2 we're ready to make the move Blahahahahahahaha
Oh we don't need to make the playoffs just show improvement blahahahahahaha
This year is just about the dev of our new QB - he's the franchise blahahahahahahaha
Next year we got this we have a gazillion in cap money blahahahahahahaha
Fireman Ed is back , look at the screen , who gives a shit blahahahahahaha
Yea keep those cards and letters coming in
It's worked for the 49ers though. After a careful rebuild they're back. All you have to do is make basic football moves like establishing a solid O line instead of prioritising 300lb DTs every year. And there is no magic wand, the Jets have dug themselves into a hole and now they have to dig their way back out of it. There is no HC in the history of football that could make the current squad playoff material.that's easy..
as long as enough of our fanbase keeps buying it..
so pretty much forever..

I've been saying this for a very long time. For some reason, the next generation of Jet fans are unwilling to see our history. Instead, they believe this crop of Jet coaches/players will find a way out of the abyss. Even my son, who was a staunch supporter, is starting to crack. Makes me a little sad that the Jets have finally worn down his innocent idealism.
How many three-five year plans is this? You are correct that it is possible to "dig out" from this mess. But until our owners undertake a serious, methodical approach, it will never be more than lip service. And if the hiring of Gase over McCarthy is any indication? We are still decades away from this franchise changing anything. It's worked for the 49ers though. After a careful rebuild they're back. Not so sure about this. The JETS chant is something that is ours and is initiated by the fans, rather than something cued by the stadium announcer that is identical in all 32 NFL venues. 'Everybody on your feet and make some noise. It's THIRRRRD DOWN and three yards to go'. 'Everybody clap your hands'. I was at Wembley stadium the last two weekends and it was very quiet, not because we don't understand what is going on as the TV comms like to say but because it is difficult to get worked up about teams you don't follow. But when the Jets came, Ed was in the seats near me and the Jets fans managed to get the JETS chant going. Still some knuckleheads at those games who don't realise that the Mexican Wave means you're bored.Ed, please stop with the crazed fireman/Jet cheer routine. You look like a mental patient escaped from the asylum. Plus, the J..E..T..S thing was fun in the old days but now comes off as embarrassing.
I totally respect folks that want to do the Jets cheer. Back when I had a season ticket, I was screaming it, too. And I don't dislike Ed at all. I just think it makes him look a bit weird and pathetic. I've had Jet fans over watching games (men and women) and to the one they all felt Ed looked sad in that cheerleader role. Not so sure about this.
