For the Darnold haters - I'm a little confused. Yes, Daniel Jones threw for 4 TDs, but they lost. Dak Prescott threw for 3 TDs against Minnesota last night and nearly 400 yards - do you think he cares about the stats? They lost. Darnold led them back in the 4th quarter to take the lead and win the game. Isn't that what the QB is supposed to do?

Darnold played well yesterday. Made really good decisions, and some fantastic throws. Granted, it's the Giants, but he was under pressure again all day, and the running game was non-existent. He played a good game. And the defense scored - great. That's not a bad thing. It means they played complementary football. This team can only win games that way. There is no way they are going to win shootouts with this offensive line. Darnold will get killed.

Just kidding. I agree he played well but who hates him on here......I can't speak for the others but he has to show me something more....a flash here or there that means nothing same with Jones. Look Kyler had a very good game yesterday & lost. But he had a very good game. that's all I want to see from him this year one turnover in six weeks & it was bad one yesterday but the kid is amazing for a rookie with a very bad Oline.......You know you keep saying the bad OL well there are many out there now not just the Jets, The D man has to suck it up & avoid the ghosts. He has been a baker his whole football life lets see if he can grow out of it.....I think he can but lest see.....I hope the D man is the next boomer........well he has the head for it

Think about that. After last week, the Jets were eliminated from winning the division. That is insanely early.

I don't think anyone here hates Darnold. I just think everyone is very frustrated with this season. I know I am and I expected us to start 0-6 so I'm not surprised at the record but still frustrated. I haven't seen anything to tell me this team is improving

We beat the Giants. The Giants might be worse than us. They have only beaten the 1 win Redskins and the Bucs who missed a game winning feildgoal . so winning yesterday for us is hard to get excited about, Yes Darnold made some good plays and avoided the usual bad plays but again, against a team probably worse than us ,... and we are pretty hard to be worse than.

Personally, I was pretty sure Darnold would be running for his life just like last year, so it's hard to evaluate anyone under these circumstances but I would have much more confidence in the kid had he just taken over a game or 2 and won it on his own. Much as I hate brady, the one thing that he does great to me is he can will his team to win games. I'd like to see Sam grab this team by the balls and say, look, I'm tired of this shit. Lets go out there and win this game. That's what being a leader is all about and that's what we need from Darnold. Can you imagine what brady would say to his line if he got hit 1/10 of the times Sam does. He'd rip them new asses so fast and they would protect him after that.

that's my 2 cents. Not sure how the others think but I know a lot of guys expected something from this season and at this point, that something, is the worst season in Jet history. Not what was expected... and the quarterback always gets the credit and the blame. not brady, of course, he only gets the credit

that's for sure. Could only be worse by 1 week. Imagine being a decent team and having the luxury of having 2 teams in you division that are so bad that they are both eliminated from the division title already. and usually the bills aren't any better

Not very probable but if he and the rest of the team believe they can it might lead to some better practices and play which could be a positive for development and I'd take that at this point.
