I would bring him in for a look see and see if Greg Williams can get this kid's head on straight . He is a local CT born guy.

I would say put in a waiver claim but his injury history makes it too risky
His injury history plus the fact that he is only available because the coaches were tired of him just coasting and not giving much effort makes me very skeptical about bringing him on board. He was benched in his last game in fact for lack of effort.

I'm aware. But he will be playing for a contract now. He was pulled for a couple of series and returned to the game. Then had a stupid costly penalty. Mid season, position of need. I would have put in a claim if he didn't have the injury history. Just don't want the risk of having to pay his 5th year option.
