I've seen those conspiracy theories. It's amazing.
So the same people who bash the Jets office as being inept and idiotic also think the Jets front office somehow managed to predict what Mehta's next post on Twitter was going to be, posted it EXACTLY as Mehta had written it but before Mehta had posted it, then took it down quickly, all to make people suspect it was Mehta so it would discredit him?
That is hilarious. People can't actually believe that, can they?

He was creating drama for headlines, basically creating his own stories. If he even had a shred of journalistic integrity before this, he doesn't now.
No, the article had first been posted on his regular column, then posted on wyatt, just prior to Mheta linking it to Twitter.
Unless the Jets have given Mheta an email @nyjets.com whick is where the Twitter account is registered and was confirmed from.
Maybe it's Mheta's source.....
But not just the link were identical. The language about the five players Douglas must keep was also identical. So either Mehta used this other person's language in the link to his own story, or it was him.
Honestly, do people really believe it was the Jets?
Have you not noticed all the links here are identical to the actual post they are linked from. 3 mouse clicks. It was a direct link taken from his column which was all ready posted .

The tweet was linked from Mheta's Daily News Column. Not his Twitter. I can post this convo on Twitter and it won't be a retweet. The timelines show his column was published before the tweet. It's a burner account. Jets PR team, pro jet agenda. Was not set up to make Mheta look bad, Mheta exposed Gase. Has clowned him in every presser the past week, so it was then used in an attempt to make Mheta look bad, did for a few minutes, until the email address used to create the account turned out to belong to a Jet PR employee.

The tweet was linked from Mheta's Daily News Column. Not his Twitter. I can post this convo on Twitter and it won't be a retweet. The timelines show his column was published before the tweet. It's a burner account. Jets PR team, pro jet agenda. Was not set up to make Mheta look bad, Mheta exposed Gase. OK, so what is more likely? Is it more likely that Mehta is going to post his story on the Daily News site and then go over to tweet it on his twitter, not realizing that he had remained signed into a burner account?
Or is it more likely that a Jets employee created the account, then used it to frame Mehta, and just happened to be online at the exact time between when Mehta posted the article on the Daily News site and then linked it to his own twitter, tweeted it out before Mehta could tweet it, and then pulled it down to make it look suspicious?
Seriously. Which is more likely?

Scenario 1:
1. Mehta has burner account.
2. Mehta posts article on Daily News site.
3. Mehta goes to post on his own twitter, but forgot he was signed into the burner account.
4. Mehta deletes burner tweet and posts it to his own twitter.
OR...
Scenario 2:
1. Jets front office employee opens burner account to make Jets look good.
2. Mehta does such a brilliant job owning Jets, Jets decide to use burner account to frame Mehta.
3. Mehta posts article on Daily News site.
4. Jets employee running burner account sees the article in the short window between when Mehta posted it on the Daily News site and when he linked it to his own twitter.
5. Said Jets employee decides to sweep in before Mehta tweets it by tweeting it himself/herself and then pulling it down to make it look like Mehta had been running the burner account.
6. Mehta posts it to his own twitter.
If you are going to tell me you think Scenario 2 is more likely, I really don't know what to say.

By the way, in the past day or so, a new Twitter account was made. The tagline? "A huge Jets fan trying to clear the name of Manish Mehta."
All the account does is retweet Mehta pieces.
