So is this another so-called 'blunder by the Jets'? We could probably have got Tannehill if we wanted. Then again, he wouldn't have come with Henry in his hip pocket.

I like the Titans chances at KC, I don't see Darron Lee stopping Henry.

All this means is we will have to sit through another NFC victory in the Super Bowl, and I hate it when that happens.

We got Gase because of Peyton Manning phone call

I wish the Jets called Ryan Tannehill for a reference

His 50% completion percentage and 88 passing yards show just how dominant he is now that he's out from under Gase's shadow, even more than the 72 yards passing he had the previous week.

Interesting point. Guess Henry is actually the main reason for the Titans' recent success.

Crazy how folks are somehow linking Tannehill's 'success' to Gase's absence. The guy is average at best and but for Henry and a stout OL he would be sitting home out of the playoffs. Same thing with everyone saying McCarthy should have been the HC choice instead of Gase. Packers are now 14-3 with a rookie HC, guess MAC wasn't all that great after all.

You want to pick out 2 games that he won on the road the no one gave him a chance fine .

You want the season this year starting in Oct .that got him to the Championship

Completion %. - Yards. - TDs. - Int. - QB rating

70.32,742226117.5
Not bad for a QB that Gase ran out of Miami and almost out of the league

If you want to continue to pile on Gase fine, but here are some other facts to consider:
- Gase did not run Tannehill out of the league. He was traded to the Titans on March 15, 2019 almost 3 months after Gase was fired;
- In Gase's first year as HC of Fins, Tannehill's completion % jumped from 62% to 67% and QB rating from 88.7 to 93.5;
- Tannehill missed entire 2017 due to serious knee injury; and
- Tannehill played in 11 games in 2018, missing time with shoulder injury and finished season with 64%, but a QB rating of 92.7;
- Heresay - Tannehill was a polarizing presence in the lockeroom, and apparently some players were put off by Gase's loyalty to the QB. Doesn't sound like Gase ran him out of town.

Bottom line is Tanny is winning now that he is away for cold gase & another Gase qb is seeing ghosts...…...I don't want tanny on my team but he is playing next week.

Those are impressive stats for the regular season, and a larger sample size than the postseason. Not sure it is all on Gase, but those are solid numbers.

Yes I agree solid numbers
And the more I think about the two playoff games
If you have the lead , on the road
And your team is playing great defense
Would you rather use your running game to shorten the game and put the team away ?
Or let your QB continue to throw the ball and risk something happening, not good .

I’ll chalk up those two wins to a great game plan and in game situational football.
Great coaching

Like I said, you're entitled to your opinion, but don't snow folks with with incorrect (Gase running RT out of town/league) and incomplete information (this year's stats). You don't like Gase, and are distorting the facts to suit that narrative. Fact is, RT improved greatly under Gase and that progression continued this year with a better balanced offense and OL in Nashville. So, give him props because they are deserved, but to say he's having success this year because Gase no longer coaches him, is pure nonsense.

What I would do is try to continue to keep the defense off balance. Short, high percentage throws for one. I would also use the passing game to set up the run. Draws and the such. And then reverse that with play action.

I'd do more on the ground, but I wouldn't want to become one-dimensional. I'd just make sure the passing game was high percentage.

Yup and you got yours
Don’t agree I’m snowing anyone
Everyone can figure that one out on there own

Oh and by the way I’m not the only one saying this in case you don’t know

The Jets couldn’t fire Gase fast enough
Never should have got the job in the first place
My opinion
