It looks like MLB has a different view on cheating then the NFL. Baseball is canning guys rather then giving them a fine and another ring.
In both cases players still had to play the games and win them. They were just given a little edge from the cheating. Or maybe, as some people suggest, All the teams cheat and only the ones who win get caught. Who knows?
What about Brady deflating his balls? Many argue that this made no difference. He still had to play and win.
I would argue, if these things make no difference then why bother going through the trouble and risk of doing them?
I haven't heard any news recently about the cheatah s latest videotaping scandal. We all know that it was no coincidence. Will it be swept under the rug or will the baseball ruling cause it to be looked at and judged more harshly?
If I'm Belichick, based on my previous punishment, or lack there of, why would I Not continue to do the same thing ?
Maybe we should just allow signal stealing and videotaping to help out the teams who don't have a genius like Belichick, with nothing better to do with his time, running them. Make it legal so everyone can do it. Belichick sure liked it a whole lot when Vrabe l have him some of his own medicine
