Cooks and Robby Anderson both lining up in Jet Green? It could happen

And.................I still believe that Vyncint Smith could step in and replace him given the opportunity.

My sense is Perriman and an early drafted WR, along with a later pick. The top six will be:

Early drafted WR
Perrmian
Crowder
Smith
Doctson
Later drafted WR

It is quite possible the Jets decided to move on from Robby Anderson all along with a more complete Wr in Brandin Cooks in mind , and choose a wr in the second or third round. Robby was in the dog house more than once because of his route running blunders. It’s something to think about anyway.

Jets are not trading for Brandon Cooks...
Robby Anderson wanted to get paid and the Jets were not offering him anywhere close to what he got... They prolly offered him a 1 year deal $5 M, that is why he held out and finally left...
We have talent on the roster, just now their time to prove they belong...
Jets will likely draft one receiver, my hunch is Michael Pittman who has been working out with Sam...
Doubt they will use the top picks on this position...

Pittman fits the size to be a big-time WR. And he has the USC link.

Question is, do you take him in the second? He probably projects at a late second, and the Jets might be picking a bit too high for his slot.

Pittman is a late 3rd early 4th...

That late? That shows just how stocked this WR class is. In a normal year, he is arguably second round talent.
Both Colorado receivers are 1st round talent should be gotten in the back half of the 2nd round...

yes this draft is seriously deep at this position but it is how the team in question values said prospect is where they will end up going...

if he is on the board with our 2nd 3rd take him there don't hesitate... if he goes earlier that means there are others that can be gotten, and the team has a laundry list of likes in this draft at receiver...
