Mekhi Becton Failed Drug Test at Combine

Multiple players had drug tests flagged at the NFL Combine and among those is projected top 10 pick #Louisville OT Mekhi Becton.

Teams were made aware of this. Becton had no failed drug tests in college. Per new CBA rules, he goes into Stage 1 for no more than 60 days (Rap).

Can Bell still find the holes?? This team severely lacks any studs on offense and I would rather have a star at WR than the 4th best LT that might not be worth a shit or a fit for this offense. None of these LT's are can't miss, but we need a game changer for Darnold. The WR class might be deep, but after Ruggs, Jeudy or Lamb I just don't see game changing type WR's. I don't think the drop off after the top 4 LT's is that much. I could be wrong, but I really want a game changer.

If he has character issues, and I've read that in a few places - he's lazy, etc. forget it. I don't care how big and strong he is, if he's a bust, none of that matters - plenty examples of that in Jets history - anyone remember Quinten Couples or Vernon Gholston? The Jets need character guys that can play football, not athletes with character issues.

I have seen some dumb mock trades basically Dallas fans:

Jamal Adams and our No. 11 pick for their 21 & 53 this year and 1st next year...

Not for nothing those three picks can get them the No. 11 pick only...

I doubt they will shop him, only if a team gives the kitchen sink and then some...

I do see the media yapping away about what he may or may not do, funny thing he has been very quiet the last week or so, maybe there is nothing there but media hype... I like Adam Schefter but he is also an instigator for things that his colleagues are trying to put out there... Nothing is confirmed, just saying until Thursday we will know better...

But from what I see, and from a few people on the inside there is no conversations from Joe Douglas and Florham Park about Jamal Adams with Dallas Cowboys or any other team... But never know things happen quick nowadays not saying someone won't do a ridiculous offer draft day but as of now nothing is going on...
