It's unfortunate that the good ones tend to fade away. Hopefully, Sack sticks around and Hobson comes back. Two guys that have made this site enjoyable and instructive with their thoughtful input. Speaking for myself, I get awfully tired reading the same tired negative crap from some posters. I'm sure thats a big part of the reason some of the good ones leave.

And the Jets schedule this year is brutal. Last year, it was middling, inconsistent, a far easier second half.

I repeatedly griped about Maccagnan not investing enough in the OL when he was here, so I'm not sure what you are talking about there. I did think Kalil would be a good fit, as he was a veteran presence at C who could help a young QB. But I was quite consistent on saying I thought Maccagnan did not invest enough resources in the OL. I assume that that point was not convenient for you bashing me, so you ignored it.

Maybe Gase teaches Sam how to be a QB but then get fired as a head coach , sounds like a good plan

I think we all need relax and take a time out. We're all frustrated by the lack of what would normally be news coming out of the camps by now.
It reminds me of when, during SB III (according to Dave Aderson's book), one of the linemen asked Weeb (I paraphrase) "When they line up in the odd man front, do I line up over the tackle, the guard, or in the gap?" And Weeb answered, "Just get in there and hit somebody".
We are arguing with each other because there is nothing else to talk about.
If any of us could predict the future, we wouldn't be here. We'd be in a casino making a lot of money.
I'm sure when camps start, we'll all be able to focus on the team and not each other's posts.

don't write me off. I'm positively negative and this team made me this way

but if we ever stop sucking, I will stop being negative. at least about the Jets
