How many players will get the virus this year?

I don't understand as by mid season we "could" be facing the virus at its worst. Bodies could be dropping like flies. This should be a lost season.

I tend to agree. This thing will get worse as we approach September, and ultimately I think the season will be cancelled. They are hoping that they can get it going, but it's a false hope. And getting the NFL, the PA and the owners in agreement on the dozens of issues that need to be ironed out will be next to impossible. And what are their liability insurers telling them right now? Can you imagine the lawsuits if something goes wrong?

It will defend on the things put in place (equipment, procedures) and how well they are used/ deployed.

I said it months ago and I will say it again. There is no way there should be a season this year. All it takes is one player to get it. Before they test positive they will have given it to half of the locker room. This thing spreads way too fast and easy.
