Well at first my knee jerk reaction(seems like everyone is going with that these days) was to curse the guy out and say he was a waste of money but then rational thought took over. The man has a family to think of. EVERYTHING ELSE is secondary. So if He can keep his people safe by not playing who is anyone to judge him for that? Think before you open your mouth. If more people did that We would not be in the mess we are today.

If he didn't have that 29 mil in the bank would he opt out? Doubt it .
If there is such a danger the seson should be cancelled , but there's to much money at stake. They don't really care about the safety of players.
I've had family members die in coal mines and get Black lung disease . Italian immigrants who had no choice . Could they opt out to save family members such grief? They had no choice, they couldn't miss a $10'pay check. That's what gets me about these guys.

If you read my entire post I also said they should probably delay the season till a vaccine is possible for safety across the board.

Wow. Did I quote your post? No I did not. We have all had hardship in our lives due to this coronavirus and sad as it is yours is not a situation that MILLIONS have not experienced. Not that I don't sympathize but you are not alone in your experience.
We all have had people lose their lives doing their jobs and you should know that living in NYC. My Irish Immigrant ancestors had no choice either but they wanted a better life same as yours did. They lost their lives building this Nations railroad system and were treated as slaves. They would endure anything so their children and their childrens children could have it better than they did. So while I sympathize with your situation YOU ain't the only one hurtin' or shedding a tear right now.

I don't care if he opts out. We played well without him last year so he has never been much of an impact. As far as waste of money then that is a definite yes. He was a waste of money even if he played every down. His production was replaceable last season. Now he will be 29 before he ever plays another down. I'm glad we have Avery Williamson and Gregg Williams as DC.

As for Mosley opting out you are correct , I really don't personally care or give a shit , the Jets will suck either way if there is a seson.

I agree. my wife also has worked the whole time and for many more hours than usual which are unpaid and now has to do 12 furlough (free ) days for the next year on top of it because the hospital is losing money because of covid.
I'm also self employed and have worked every chance I can because I have to pay bills.

When the Jets signed him the Ravins replacement for him filled the position quite well and that was .......guess who............Patrick Onwuasor who just happens to be a Jet now as well as I recall. I think we'll survive without him even though he would be the better player in my opinion.
