i've been encouraged hearing about how smoothly darnold is going through his progressions early in camp..
You forget how young Sam is but its evident when he speaks to the media. He has gotten a lot better at it though but still seems a little awkward. That will get better with time I think. Overall I'm not quite satisfied with the way things have gone with Sam's development. He has had a run of bad coaches AND bad luck so you really have to give him a little bit of a mulligan. This year I want to see Sam play a full season. That will tell the tale on him. I think if he can stay on the field for a whole season the rest will take care of itself. He has the ability but moral victories are over at this point. Time to produce.

I don't believe any of these camp media stories and bs anymore. Every year we hear about how the QBs are having their best year ever, Sanchez, Geno and now Darnold.
I do admit that Darnold is a bit different than those two. I think he has shown better flashes but we have handicapped him with a shitty WR corp.

That is why I wait to see results. I don't hate the D-man but I am not putting him in the hall until I see his results first. In fact I hope the kid grows up to be a great QB & i do mean grows up.

That is nothing some of us have been with the Jets over 50 years. BigMoe did you ever figure out what you paid the Jets all these years.....I am behind you but my bills have been sky high with them. Think of CH with his craft beers every Sunday. His bill is higher then ours put together. But we still love our Jets like a 42nd street H_______r we come back for more but they/she is aging on us.
