No that wouldn't be him. He isn't a felon and he doesn't have a warrants and charges of sexual abuse. Some of us are sick and tired of watching felons being supported and being made martyrs for not complying in the first place.

even if i entertained the idea blake was a felon, how the fuck would these random arriving cops to a fucking fight know anything about that?!

blake made a horrible decision trying to get into his car.. i truly sorry for him, he made such a tragic mistake..

because as a black man myself in that situation, i might as well have run into fast moving traffic..

he didn't think the cops would try to murder him while potentially murdering his children in the process??

he was very wrong..

I'm not trying to be insensitive to these issues. Compliance seems like the best option to teach everyone. I know that would go a long way in avoiding these situations. I highly doubt any cop goes to work saying they are going to kill a black man today.

The Wisconsin Dept. of Justice revealed new details from its investigation into the shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha police officer, including that Blake had told officers he had a knife in his possession.

The officer who shot Blake was identified as Ofc. Rusten Sheskey, a seven-year veteran of the force. In its description of events, the DOJ stated Sheskey shot Blake seven times in the back while officers were trying to arrest him. No other officers fired their weapons during the incident.

According to the agency, officers were called to a home in the 2800 block of 40th Street after a woman reported that her boyfriend was there, but was not allowed to be at the home. After they arrived, officers said they tried to arrest Blake and unsuccessfully deployed a Taser to try to detain him.

In a description that seemed to mirror a widely-circulated video of the incident, the DOJ’s Division of Criminal Investigation states Blake walked over to the driver’s side of his vehicle, opened the door, and leaned forward - at which point Sheskey, while holding Blake’s shirt, fired all seven shots. After the shooting, Blake was flown to a Milwaukee hospital for treatment. His family has said Blake was paralyzed and it would take ‘a miracle’ for him to walk again.

DCI’s investigation later found that Blake had told officers he had a knife in his possession. Its agents also reported discovering a knife on the driver’s side floorboard of Blake’s vehicle, but they did not find any other weapons.

The DCI is currently leading the investigation, with assistance from the FBI, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Kenosha Co. Sheriff’s Office. Investigators noted they are all cooperating fully and the officers involved have all been placed on administrative leave.

It added that DCI policy in officer-involved shooting is to have the investigation concluded within 30 days. After it wraps up, the findings are turned over to the prosecutor’s officer, who will determine if any charges are warranted.

this was a bad situation that could of been defused before it got out of hand... but have to believe because of his situation having warrant, his license was suspended and knowing that they were trying to arrest him for domestic disturbance even tho he was trying to defuse the current situation he made all the wrong moves that led to the officer shooting him...

it is a disgusting ending where the officer(s) could of merely tackled him before he made it to his driver side door... this is a never ending problem in this country, there are too many cops that are trigger happy albeit mostly because they fear of the inevitable while most are blinded by the color of others skin...

Look we can't judge the mind of someone else & what they are thinking under stress. Many people get shot once or more & live to kill the person that shot them. The officer may have thought his life was in danger & fired as many shots as he could. I don't know & you don't know. I did know a women that was shot three times in the head & lived. After she was hot she ran out of the house. If she had a gun she could have shot someone. It happens all the time. As far as if he tackled him.......these officer don't face this everyday & when it happens it may not seem real. There is a delay. It is sad but it is real world again we don't live in a perfect world.

We can have opinions but we can't really judge these things.
