Lets get this kid more touches in the next few weeks. Bell is doing nothing for us.

Hopefully Bell is done. He lost it by sitting out a year and he was 100% the product of a good OL in Pittsburgh.
Bell will likely be out for a couple weeks that means they will need to elevate Adams to active roster because as a practice squad member he can only be activated one more game this season.
Perine, Adams & Gore could be a solid power running core. But doubt they make that change until after week 2.

Agreed, Adams should be our guy. Along with Perine when he returns. Bell has to go and Gore is just a one year rental anyway.

hopefully the team doctors will bench LeVeon since he is a complete liar, jackass and meTeam person... he clearly wasn't 100% entering this game and yet they tried to ride the one legged pony clearly after he came up gimpy...
Adams is like Bell without the dancing... Adams runs like Gore, with Bell's size... Perine runs like Gore and has deceptive speed... I was questioning the signings of these linemen because they are power blockers all three of the interior from Alex Lewis, to newly signed Van Roten and McGovern... The only one that is athletic is Fant... Now Becton has brute force behind his light feet feet so one can say he is both...
If they hold him out next week against the 9ers, and both Gore and Adams show out, not sure the health status of Perine but if they put on a good show then it has to be considered to trade Bell even if we eat some of his contract in doing so...

Josh Adams was called up for one of his two appearances for game day from the practice squad...
this year there is 16 practice squad players because of Covid... with that game day roster is 48, normal 46 active roster players plus 2 from the practice squad... any player called up from the practice squad for the season can only be called up twice unless they activate him to the active roster...
Why the hell is Adams back on the practice squad when he probably is the best RB we have?

he was only called up from the practice squad for the game... he was sent back down after game logistics...
with Bell out, leaving Gore & Perine the only backs on the roster we are likely to see him promoted this week from the practice squad for game day but after this week they will have to make a decision to promote him to the active roster permanently or risk him being signed off our practice squad to another active roster as he won't be able to be elevated again for the rest of the season...
this week, he produces and Perine is still inactive tough decision for Douglas not to let him walk away because some team will try to sign him from our practice squad...
