It's never too soon to discuss the NY Jets Head Coaching Position. I honestly don't believe Christopher(Barbie World)Johnsen will fire Gase but if he did, who would you want as the next HC?

My short list after giving it some thought , will probably have some scratching their heads .
I wanted 3 candidates,
1 an established OC
2 a young up and coming coach and finally
3 a candidate who while an unconventional choice, I believe is qualified to actually run an organization, oversee all 3 phases of the team with the time and ties to hire a quality coaching staff.
So here's who I chose for each in order
1 Greg Roman
2 Joe Brady
3 Dave Toub
My personal order would be Toub,Roman, Brady

I think Satterfield would be great but dont think he would leave Louisville so fast. He is a rising star. I cant see him leaving .
Shaw and Stefanski are both great options.
I'm not sold on Bieniemy. Hot name but I take Toub over him. Same organization, much more experience.
at the end of the day in house hire:
Brant Boyer would bring discipline and leadership while continuing dominance with special teams...
hiring an OC & DC to be under him, makes more sense as we have failed with Defensive Head Coaches & Offensive Head Coaches just the same so throw a curveball into the mix and do something different who knows it may pay off...

Did Stefanski get fired already from his Cleveland HC job?
he is gonna quit... I would too after dealing with Baker, OBJ, etc...
this is Cleveland no one lasts more than one season...

we need a head coach that does not favor offense or defense...
we need someone to hold coaches, GM, players, media all accountable...
we need someone whom the players respect and want to follow...
right now there is no one in their right mind to come here...
and I hate to this, but the way things look unless we go 3 - 13 or worse get ready for a 3rd year of Adam Gase and possibly trading Darnold for a 5th of scotch... they drafted Morgan for a reason, not to be the backup but to be the next Matt Moore type signal caller that Gase doesn't have to micro manage...
guarantee these players on the current roster won't be here next season:

the best way for a coach to gain players respect is to win games. in truth, the past 2 seasons, given our early schedule this has been near impossible. shy of that, you have to have been a winner somewhere else. which Gase has not been

..and thats really bad because we have nothing with those players...
that's the one thing Rex needed. an offensive coordinator who could run the offense on his own. but I think with time he would have figured things out. plus, if he hadnt had half his team given away, we may have gotten to a superbowl

I think Darnold would be worth at least a 1/4 of me.....my value is that low
I don’t see any reason to keep Gase thru the remainder of the season. I think it would go a long way if the knucklehead Johnsons fire him after this weeks loss. Name Williams as the interim coach..... then can them all (except Boyer) at end of season. At least the players and fans would know that ownership means business ..... Let Douglass bring in his own guy .......
