the only way this could work in anyway is Joe Douglas is going to need to confront CEO Christopher Johnson and demand that Gase reports to Joe not equal power... It will never work out that way as we seen in the past... Not saying I want Gase but if Joe Douglas has more control maybe he can reign him in... The one person that needs to depart outside Gase is Dowell Loggins, or diminish his title to QB coach... If Joe Douglas can find a play caller/offensive coordinator to hire and convince Gase that this is the best thing for the team then maybe things will/could change...

Adam Gase has the ear of Sam Darnold and I don't want to give up on this kid because of his moxy, calmness under pressure and his escape ability to move around in the pocket to find the open receiver... If Joe Douglas adds to the coaching staff, then maybe yea right just spitting bull shit because I don't see Gase going anywhere this season, after the season or next season...

They are going to use covid the reason why Gase wasn't able to get the best out of the roster... He is the master of excuses, probably how he convinced Christopher Johnson to give him the job after being fired from a division foe...

I wish I had more answers, to the questions everybody is asking but until we get proper foundation, proper reporting proper anything then we are up shits creek without paddle...

maybe part of the reason Gase sucks IS the lack of talent on this roster. It really is hard to know.

if Parcells were here I have no doubt he would get more from this team, but not many guys are Parcells

thing is, if Gase does have the ability to be good, he may lose the team before he gets a chance to prove it

a good coach, with a good game plan will modify said game plan to utilize the skills of current players on the roster... Gase is blinded by his desire to develop and teach a quarterback regardless whom it is... at the same he alienates the rest of the roster, players that need to be coached up are ignored and that is why the team overall suffers...

if he cared about the receivers, running backs and offensive linemen as much as he has his fingers up Sam Darnold's backside then maybe he could get more out of everyone... last season it was the team that won those games because they came together and finished those games out... none of those games were blowouts, not asking for Gase to put it together to destroy opponents but at least compete where we are not punting after three plays... then maybe the defense wont be so tired to back out there and try to muster up energy to stop the opposing offenses...

no real answers, same ole same ole... unless Gase changes then this team will continue to flounder...

some coaches are smart enough to adapt to the skills of the players that they have. others aren't, Gase.

but, eventually you draft or acquire the players that fit what you want to do, I guess. but until then you need to utilize what you have the best way you can
