The NFL did this to us on purpose

The NFL knew GOOD EN GAWD DAMN WELL that the Jets were going to be trash this year, like most years. But yet and still they put us prime time TV twice a year, so we can get crushed and embarrassed on National TV. Usually it’s against the Patriots or Ravens or Steelers. You know, teams we would have no chance of beating even on a good year. This year might be the most embarrassing.

This year it’s against the Broncos and I believe the Patriots later on this year. Guess they expected the Broncos to be a pretty good team and for them to do to us what usually happens on prime time TV. Well they are hurt as hell and it will be a shit show but they’ll still find away to beat us. I have my co-workers asking me what are we going to do tomorrow knowing that the Jets are going to get their asses handed to them.

Maybe this will be a good thing. If we get skull drugged up and down the damn field and embarrassed to shit, maybe then Woody and Christopher will get off their rich asses and do something about this shit show. The NFL knew exactly what they were doing with this game and the shit really ain’t funny at all! Why can’t they leave us the fuck alone and let us suffer our misery in peace?

It is the legacy of Pete Rozelle.
When he entered the Jets locker room after Super Bowl III, Joe Namath said to him "Welcome to the American Football League". Rozelle never forgot that embarrassing national TV moment, nor did he(or the establishment NFL owners) ever forgive it.
Think of the time both New York teams went to the NFL office and asked for a suggestion about their next GM. The Jets got Jim Kensil. The other NY team got George Young, who build a long term Super Bowl contender, right in our face.
Scheduling the Jets to look bad on national TV?
Who ever expected anything else? It's payback.

Nothing has changed in sports ......look at the Roman gladiatorial fights & throwing Christians to the Lions! Everybody loves a good slaughter be it on TV or in person........The Romans would have loved the Jets

What ever it is, it ain't right and its not funny at all. Can you guys tell me a National Football Team that they put on prime time TV at least twice a year, even when there trash like they do with the Jets? I'm being honest, please help me out? I don't even think they do this to the Giants. They definitely don't do this to the Bills and all three of these teams are NY state teams. However; they do this to the Jets, ironic isn't it! Yes of course the Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, Cowboys, Saints and Packers are always on TV but they pretty much are always a contender. Then you have the teams that get the spot light when their good like the Chiefs, Bucs, Eagles, Giants, Dolphins, Browns etc...

Well it seems to me and of course it would because I'm a die-hard Jets fan that it doesn't matter whether the Jets are good or not, they are sure to get at least two prime time games against teams they have absolutely NO CHANCE of beating. Please don't tell me that we have a chance to beat the Broncos tonight because we won't. Even if they do it's not because they are a better team, its because of all the injuries the Broncos are dealing with. The NFL knew that the Jets had no chance of winning this game when they made the schedule. Maybe the Raiders get done this way also but that would be about it. This is going to be a true embarrassment tonight, DAMN and SMDH!

I really don't mind...I mean we got everyone to see the butt fumble did we not? This is entertainment that is a fact? The Jets do have a chance of winning this game I will say a 33% chance. Go Jets. If we lose then maybe we are winning if Gase is gone or maybe we are losing because we may lose the number one pick? Or we may be winning because we go on to win 13 straight & win the SB. Or we may be losing because the the number one pick for us will be bad. You see when it comes down to it winning or losing it still is entertainment under the big top.

I'm just happy that AT&T and NFL Network decided not to renew their contracts. Also Amazon Prime doesn't start showing Thursday night games until next week. It worked perfectly that I don't have to waste my time with this organization.

Let's face it people, this game will show the world just how inept this team is, win or lose! If they win, they'll beat a team that can barely field a roster of 11 players on both sides or the ball. Keep in mind they'll barely beat the Broncos!!! If they lose then they'll be losing to a team that can barely field a roster of 11 players on both sides of the ball. Also keep in mind that if the Broncos were fairly healthy they would beat the shit out of us. Same thing that happened last week! IMO, the NFL knew that and that's why they scheduled this game!

So I ended up falling asleep on the game, THANK GOD and missed the rest of the fourth quarter. I wasn’t paying that much attention to the game in the first place but I watched the highlights and Sam Darnold was absolutely running for his life the entire game. The highlights showed Darnold getting sacked around 6-7 times, running the ball about 8 more times and getting ragged balled a lot more than that. Two points or questions rather:

1. How is any QB supposed the survive this shit?

2. Can Gase get fired now?
