We signed 3 third string players to the o line. Fant Van Roten and Lewis are not starters on any other team barring multiple injuries.
As for the D. We traded away our best player and the heart and soul of the team. Did you honestly expect any different?
I did hope they would be better then last years O line

I like Adams. once he was gone I excepted what everyone here said about him and didnt expect the defense to be worse. had more faith in Williams.

but. I really didn't expect any different. just hoped

I'm guessing he didn't like the repeated late hits and shots to his QBs head. And wanted to get his players off the field before anything major broke out.
he saw his players were heated and wanted them off the field to avoid a brawl...

smart move...

Just watched this. Plenty of blame to go round. Pathetic offense whose only TD was on a freak long QB run that looked like one of those plays where grown men let a kid score while 'falling over' trying to tackle him. Dreadful indiscipline by the pass rushers, especially with that roughing by Quinnen on the long 3rd down play which could have won us the game. Some questionable decisions by Gase, like kicking the FG on fourth and 1 when there was plenty of time for the Broncos to answer it. And throwing on 3rd and 3 when we were in four down territory. Desir lets the Rypien lob through his arms and off his facemask so Jeudy can score and give ammo to those who were moaning about the #1 draft pick. Then Gase is a jerk at the end calling timeouts on the kneeldown. Looks like the Becton injury is longer term than we thought. Useful game by Jeff Smith, so obviously he's the next to be injured.

Can this team go perfect (0-16)? At this point it's hard to see anyone who can stop them.

One thing I will say after finally watching this diabolical mess, Sam was outplayed by the third string QB on a team with just as many injuries as we have. So there is something to be said about that! He has to step his game up big time or it will be Trevor Lawrence time.

You know the toughest thing will be to get that number one pick we have some others that are almost as bad as we are lol

I can’t see any team being as bad as the Jets but maybe I’m missing something. Let’s go through the teams so far:

- Texans 0-3: we all know they won’t be drafting a QB but will trade out.
- Vikings 0-3: just might be looking to go the QB route.
- Falcons 0-3: just might be looking to go the QB route.
- Giants 0-3: won’t be drafting a QB I don’t think but will trade out or go oline men.
- Bengals 0-2-1: Obviously won’t draft a QB but will draft a top player at 1 or trade out
- Eagles 0-2-1: No way they are staying winless and they won’t draft a QB anyway. Trade out situation IMO

Note: all these winless teams will win at least one game and I doubt the Jets win any. All the other bad teams have 1 win at least and should win at least 1-2 more. So it looks to me like the Jets have this in the bag.
