Before the season if I was asked who should of won the kicking job, my answer would of been Brett Maher... Glad I was wrong and boy he has looked like the MVP of our team... He is still kind of young kicker that the Jets could offer Sam Ficken a multi year deal limit the guarantees but stipulate incentives... Worse case scenario he comes back next season and bombs, we then could move on and hope to find someone new...
But I believe this kid has proven to at least consider a multi year offer...
