douglas drafted a backup QB with a 4 this year..
i can't see him waiing until the middle rounds to continue to fix the WR room.. the need is ti great..
there are as of now 2 top 10 receivers unless we are drafting in the top ten then sure no problem...
but there is a lot of talent in rounds 2 - 4 that we can target...
as of now Cameron Clark is still touted as a tackle, and the real feelings of Chuma Edoga are unknown if these two aren't in the future plans for right tackle then to targeting a left tackle who would be also the backup for Becton should be on the table... We know McGovern is locked in for a few years so center is locked up... Alex Lewis isn't long term answer at left guard possibly the spot they see for Clark, leaving the other side right guard open to fill in through the draft as well...
two first rounds this year, one could go offensive line the other depending on where it lands could be trade down bait or go for a dynamic player possibly Travis Etienne from Clemson to fill out the back field with Perine and Bell (if Bell is still around)...
Trey Smith from Tennessee is still seen as a mid second round option who would work inside at either guard positions...
having two third rounds the Jets could find a solid pickup as we all noticed players have dropped for many reasons... don't need to reach for a receiver as long as you have a good coach teaching them up like we have in Hines Ward... and again depending on how certain players play this year will we have a need for Edge, CB, Safety even MLB...
too early, too many questions... not to mention who will be out there in free agency and will we have any cap casualties after this season...
