not necessarily in this order: CB, WR, Edge and OL. Groundhog draft day.

  1. OL will be primary for at least the first two picks
  2. CB & WR will be targeted in the middle rounds
  3. EDGE all depends on who we have this year and how they produce
  4. Expect TE will be on the need after this season
  5. Safety also could be on the line if they don't retain Maye
  6. Perine, Bell moving forward expect Gore is only a one year rental so drafting another RB could be an option

douglas drafted a backup QB with a 4 this year..

i can't see him waiing until the middle rounds to continue to fix the WR room.. the need is ti great..

there are as of now 2 top 10 receivers unless we are drafting in the top ten then sure no problem...
but there is a lot of talent in rounds 2 - 4 that we can target...

as of now Cameron Clark is still touted as a tackle, and the real feelings of Chuma Edoga are unknown if these two aren't in the future plans for right tackle then to targeting a left tackle who would be also the backup for Becton should be on the table... We know McGovern is locked in for a few years so center is locked up... Alex Lewis isn't long term answer at left guard possibly the spot they see for Clark, leaving the other side right guard open to fill in through the draft as well...

two first rounds this year, one could go offensive line the other depending on where it lands could be trade down bait or go for a dynamic player possibly Travis Etienne from Clemson to fill out the back field with Perine and Bell (if Bell is still around)...

Trey Smith from Tennessee is still seen as a mid second round option who would work inside at either guard positions...

having two third rounds the Jets could find a solid pickup as we all noticed players have dropped for many reasons... don't need to reach for a receiver as long as you have a good coach teaching them up like we have in Hines Ward... and again depending on how certain players play this year will we have a need for Edge, CB, Safety even MLB...

too early, too many questions... not to mention who will be out there in free agency and will we have any cap casualties after this season...

Top Two Picks
Can’t debate what your saying, especially in the WR choice but has Sam really had a fair shake to show who he really is? I don’t think he has.

This is his third year and he’s had the shit end of the deal every year. Only QB that’s had it worse in his draft class is Rosen. Sam was drafted under Bowles and we all know how much of a disaster that was and now he’s dealing with Gase in a total rebuild situation. Might be a even worse situation!

Five new oline men this year and under par skilled players. He might need another two years to show what he can do. So drafting a offensive linemen and a WR is a thought also. Just saying!!!

You forgot number 7 which really should be number 1, FIRE GASE!!!

QB,Trevor Lawrence, Clemson will be our JETS number one pick in the next Draft in 21! I looked at Jets schedule and I see maybe 1 win against Miami this year...maybe. Im excited to get this QB Trevor! It gives Darnold another season to show anything next year a
while our new QB learns the playbook.

Not disagreeing about SAM but we cant salvage him in 2021 - contracts make that impossible. And Trever is a better talent.

I thought Texas A & M had a QB called 'MONO', which would have made him a lock for the Jets, but on closer inspection it was 'MOND'.

I can’t see any team being as bad as the Jets but maybe I’m missing something. Let’s go through the teams so far:

- Texans 0-3: we all know they won’t be drafting a QB but will trade out.
- Vikings 0-3: just might be looking to go the QB route.
- Falcons 0-3: just might be looking to go the QB route.
- Giants 0-3: won’t be drafting a QB I don’t think but will trade out or go oline men.
- Bengals 0-2-1: Obviously won’t draft a QB but will draft a top player at 1 or trade out
- Eagles 0-2-1: No way they are staying winless and they won’t draft a QB anyway. Trade out situation IMO

Note: all these winless teams will win at least one game and I doubt the Jets win any. All the other bad teams have 1 win at least and should win at least 1-2 more. So it looks to me like the Jets have this in the bag.

Yup. I think we have a good chance of helping Trevor Lawrence stay in school and finish his degree. his mother will love us

the good news is, next year Gase will be back and we can go 0-16 again
