no off season, no continuity or chemistry was able to be built and injuries piled up quickly because of no off season conditioning program...

Frank Pollack is a good OL coach and can become great with proper associated talent:

Becton is our left tackle and we know Alex Lewis played above his level associated with Becton...
Van Roten on the right side was better than average, add in a rookie with starting capability having a veteran will excel like Becton did with Lewis...
My only issue is Connor McGovern, his play is uneven but with a better suited foundation can he be that guy IDK...
Did they not want to break in two rookies at the same time reason we have not seen Clark, are they planning to finish season with him seeing no snaps? Again these are questions that won't b answered until they are...

look what he accomplished when we went with the 2 younger RBs, I mean 200 yards rushing for Ty, Josh & Sam...

that was with an unhealthy line... our projected starters for the season were not starting that game...

so a good OL coach has to patch work with the players healthy and he has actually done a well job thus far...

G I am under the same thinking as you are I do have a question for you. Is our line coach really good not just avg or bad & if not are there any good ones in college or the pros that would be better? I do feel the OLC can make a huge difference on a team.

My question is what 3rd year QB has ever been given a decreasingly worse roster in each of his 3 years. No vet backup to support him in year 2. Also the worst NFL HC hire after being fired in Miami. I know Darnold has his flaws, but he was never given a chance for true success. I know he should be able to read defenses better, but a lack of weapons, a horrible offensive scheme and a bad to awful OL is prohibiting him from learning the pro game. Asking a 23 old kid that is very mature for his age to succeed in this environment is not fair. His failure and lack of progression is 100% the fault of the Jets organization. I don't think those are excuses. They are facts.

True but IMO he just does not have it. But all you say is true. He will get a chance as Bart Star did, Plunkett did & Warner did. Johnny u too, & Don Maynard & lou Brock did.

Yes it's a terrible roster and keeps getting worse.

I remember seeing Archie playing in Yankee stadium He was tossed around like a washing machine but he still played well at the same time. Dunderhead does not play that way but he is young...you never say never except with the Jets Seasons
