First thing that comes to mind is the 1968 game at Shea. Coming off a last minute comeback win in Houston where they would have been 3-3 wth a loss, you started to believe that maybe a championship was possible. Pats come to Shea in late October with Mike Taliaferro at QB (IIRC). Jets blow them out and Billy Joe (ex-Denv-Buff-Mia before ending his career here) runs wild over the Pats with 3 long 4th quarter TD's
Best one other than the 2011 playoff win was the Decker TD when the Pats made a mistake and gave the Jets the ball first in OT
The Pats also gave you a great place to see a road game as they were close enough that you didn't even need to stay over. I loved games at the old Shaeffer. It was so retro footbally. The fans always treated us very well even though we were rooting for the visitors. Lots of fun tales from those visits.

Years ago, AOL had NFL message boards. I participated in their Jets board. One season we played the Packers at Green Bay. One poster went to the game. Green Bay has more bars than traffic lights, and he said he went into a bar with a Jets jersey! He said a few guys ragged him, then they bought him drinks! Can you see that happening in Oakland?
At Shea close game in 80's johnny Lynn interceps a pass with two minutes left to win the game against the pats. I run out the stadium to beat the crowd from the upper deck. Race over the bridge as fast as I can to get to Giants stadium to see the cards play the giants in the late game. Got there just before half time.
Can you imagine going to that shithole for any reason??
