I'm betting they looked into the health question before offering him a contract and they all have to pass a physical for the contract to be valid. That being said I'd say it's safe to say he's healthy now and with that new fitness department they hope to keep him that way. That's my gut feeling anyway.

Nice signing. Not a strong position in this draft and a big need
Even though there are no Youngs or Bosas, there are some very solid edge guys that may develop into very good players. I hope we grab one of them in the first 3 rounds.
I'd be ok with a 4th round flyer, hate to see developmental picks early. This team needs too much help to pass on players ready to contribute year one.
This is the type of signing we should expect from Douglas. He may not have been the flashiest name out there, but he is young, is the best scheme fit, and is on the upside.
