Reports say they didn't even call the Jets because there's bad blood with Saleh and knew what kind of answer they'd get. (I'm guessing a well manicured middle finger)

And so what . Everyone was about to give up on Baker before last. Season and look at him now with a good coach and skill position talent . We have an opportunity here to build a team that can complete for a decade if only we can be patient with a 22 year old kid taking his lumps .

You will never compete with Darnold at QB . He CANT READ DEFENSES..... no one ever said he didn’t have a talented arm, but he is incapable of reading defenses and after 3 years..... probably will never learn, no matter who is coaching

Not knowing you, I wish you never have to go through the amount of losses I did as a Jet fan. I was a Jet in Namath's senior year at Alabama. I remember when he took over for Mike Talafiero at QB.

From everything I have heard, theres nothing but love between the 9era owners and HC and Saleh. The were very supportive of him getting a HC position before and after the hire.
I know this much......nevermind, I know jack-shit like the rest of us.
I have green blood and so does most of my brothers and nephews. I have grey hair that has grey hair so I get it.
I just don’t think you can ever build anything if you keep tearing it down year after year because you don’t like what you see. Get it finished 1st and then step back and take a look.
Do you realize that some of the players drafted last year for our schemes don’t fit what we want to do this year.
Becton, Mims,Davis,Zuniga,Perine,Clarke, Hall and Mann all fit. That leaves Morgan who is a backup and a better fit than Darnold.
Who am I missing from last years draft that doesn't fit this years scheme? Lots of them may not have seen much if any time due to injuries, but they weren't expected too. The offensive scheme is still going to rely heavily on YAC. The offensive players all fit. The D will be predicated on speed. All players fit. Zuniga has excellent burst, Davis was an all American track star, Hall is a fit in zone coverage, a staple of Saleh's D.
Pretty obvious what happens now but I gotta say that I’m really not feeling good about this Zach Wilson pick. Just doesn’t feel like the Jets are going to get this one right. Kid wasn’t even voted team Caption for his college team. Why is that? Gotta be some valid reason right???
The kid seems to be some undersized privileged rich kid who doesn’t care much about the game. I truly hope I’m wrong here and he turns out to be ALL WORLD but I just can’t see it! Then again, I thought Darnold was going to be all world. So what the hell do I know!

Remember the Bears traded up one spot for Trubisky, not wanting to take any chances. Having not worked out was actually irrelevant at the time. So, there was probably communication between Salah nd the 49ers,

His uncle is founder of Jet Blue, and has family in N.Y.

I cant imagine being SO confident in Wilson that the 49ers package would not have had appeal. You take that deal in a minute. You roll with Darnold for one more season. If he fails, you have draft assets to get your choice of QB in 2022.
So then we do have to worry about him whipping it out at every massage therapist?
