Lets not make mistakes but use this years picks to protect our future QB and give him weapons at his disposal. Use next years picks to address the Defense and whatever we missed this year on Offense. This year (RT, OG, TE, RB or WR). I'm sure somewhere they will address CB too.
Love this player but big picture says the Jets need a LG who can dominate more then a RT who they can get later in the draft . Why trade up and spend draft capitol you might need to acquire that premier edge rusher next year when you can take either Slater, Vera-Tucker or Wyatt Davis somewhere between 23 and 66 .
Slater and Tucker probably won't be there, and Davis is more of a power run game guy. He's not particularly agile or effective in space as he is in the box. There are a lot of IOL types that can be had in rounds 2-4, no need to trade up.
Not to be negative but we lost a few picks getting Darnold too. & we lost a few games getting the other two players. The more we lose the better we do........it comes down to a good booger,,,it is how you pick......
That being said we need to forget the past.....Big Moe don't worry about the last 35 years & + 25,000 grand you spent & the 1000 hours in traffic on watching the jets lose. It means nothing. Those ten dollar stale hotdogs are a thing of the past....look toward the future.

This happens and there's a chance someone like Ojulari or Parsons drop . I would love to see what Parsons could do at OLBer for next year with both our MLBers currently on 1 yr contracts .
Quick question . Are all those picks we got in the Darnold trade guaranteed or conditional performance base or top of the round protected ?
