AGREED. If Mosley is what he was two years ago than this defense will be a monster. Add LB Davis and all the other additions and we will be looking pretty good on D.
Thanks for taking the glass half full approach Tinstar, and I'll take it one step further. We now have areas of real strength on this team in the WR, DL and STs rooms. We couldn't say that about any of our units with the exception of perhaps STs previously. We also have great promise with the all important, albeit untested coaching staff, QB room and at least two-fifths to three fifths of our equally important OL room. Don't get me wrong, unless a miracle of incredible coaching happens, we are not a playoff team yet. However, the direction of this team with management and coaching staff in lock-step has such a good feel that I believe in 2022 after another solid draft, we will start to compete on a equal playing field in a very tough AFC East.
As am I . If and it's a big if, Zack Wilson plays to the expected level of most QBs drafted with his promise, then the Jets are going to surprise some people early and by the time they figure us out, it's going to be too late . We played lousy last year, not being able to score TDs but we hardly ever got blown out . Imagine what we could accomplish with decent QB play, an improved running game and quality coaching .
I see that even the proxy wisdom of butterscotch is no match for the power of the Green Kool-Aid. Why would you wish Carolina ill, Darnold was a class act while he was here and didn't want to leave New York? I hope he has a great career as long as it's not against us.
You're right, I don't wish Darnold ill, in fact I hope he does well. Great kid. How about I re-phrase to: I hope he plays well but Carolina falls to 4-13 because defense fell apart?
