If the Jets finalize this Moses deal, Joe Douglas will have added some serious beef to the OL.
Mekhi Becton, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Connor McGovern, George Fant and Morgan Moses in two offseason.
Far cry from Spencer Long, Brandon Shell and Brian Winters.

Moses' potential signing indicates probably all of the following:
1 )the team is not confident Becton can stay on the field(at least until he matures training and diet wise),
2) they are not completely satisfied with Fant - believing he hit his ceiling last year which was merely adequate at best,
3) they have little/no faith Edoga and McDermott can be anything more then backups

Only 1 week after his rough breakup with Jennifer Lawrence, big Jet fan, NewMFS62, was rumored to be seen at a ritzy Ct. restaurant with Kate Beckinsale
Fant seems like more of a true fit at RG in a wide zone scheme. I would imagine Fant moves to starting RG if Moses is signed. If anything happens with Becton, Fant steps in at LT and Clark or GVR step up at RG. Similarly, anything happens with Moses, Fant moves outside to RT and one of those two steps in at RG.
I'm getting the impression Moses significantly overvalues his worth. It seems he was demanding a new contract with Washington which led to his release

I absolutely agree Joe D set a monetary value for Moses and is pretty much transfixed there. It would appear that this value assessment(by Joe D) is also apparently Moses' NFL present market value because no other team to this point has seemingly exceeded that assessment.
Possibly, Moses may have decided to wait until training camps open when an injury may trigger desperation by a team which substantially increases what is now his present day market value.
