Why I Like The 4-3 Defense

It generates pressure and we saw that tonight. I know it's preseason but still, the defense was attacking. I was also a fan of the DT Jonathan Marshall pick and he was getting pressure from the DT position. Hopefully, he will remove Nathan Sheperd as he was another Maccagnan or Gase B_U_S_T pick. Good win Jets and always good to beat up on the Giants.

I like Marshall as well but figured we’d be able to stash him on the practice squad. If he keeps up the production
someone will surely claim him off waivers.

I like 4-3 if you got 4 Beasts to pressure allowing Safeties free range. If not having 4 Beasts that play every down then Jets will look silly. Sack Exchange is level Of play that Jets need. Do you think we have a Kleco,Gastineau combo this year?

I don't think we will ever see that level of pressure ever again. The Sack Exchange was awesome. But if we can mask the pressure DL or LB like Lawson getting sacks that would be a huge improvement from previous Jets teams. The 3/4 defense just gave the QB too much time. I just never understood or liked the 3/4. Because someone was getting double teamed. Now someone will be coming free or a lineman will be beating OL one on one.

I hope so but right now I don't see a Klecko. He was unique and a real tough dude. Still haven't seen anyone that has played LDE/NT/RDE since Klecko. I don't understand why he isn't in the HOF.
