Stats call it, this kid Mims needs to be on the field a lot more. 25-30 snaps at the least. Give the kid a DAMN chance at least!

if Jeff Smith is a no show again this week he probably won't stay on the active roster much longer...

they are going to give Elijah Moore all the chances to succeed and if he fails that is on the coaching staff...

they talked about how players were tired in the 4th quarter reason why Mims got his shot, well rotating Corey Davis and Mims keeps them both fresh throughout the entire game... lets say 65 offensive snaps in total give Davis 45 and give Mims 20 and lets see how it plays out..

Sounds absolutely reasonable to me GMF and I’m with on it but allow me to take it step further. I believe the stat line that you put up in the Jets @ Panthers game day thread was 65 snaps: Davis: 60, Moore: 57, Berrios: 37, Smith: 7, Mins: 3. I may be off a bit but I believe that’s around about what you had.

So the numbers may not exactly add up but let’s just say all the receivers all healthy and active, which would also includes Cole and Crowder. If they can actually have all seven receivers active on the roster then maybe the numbers can look like this with let’s say, 65 snaps of offense:

C. Davis: 45 (obvious reasons, he’s the #1, bell cow, most productive and most reliable WR)

Crowder: 30 (he is a key WR but strictly a slot guy)

Cole: 25 (same as Crowder pretty much but to a lesser degree)

Mims: 25 (he’ll get that time that Davis is off the field and maybe a few snaps with him)

Moore: 25 (with that horrible game one, the rookie has to prove his worth, use him on special teams also)

Berrios: 20 (gotta show him some love, plus he’s on special teams)

Smith: 5 (mop up duty, if he’s lucky enough to get that)

I believe these numbers are close enough to make a realistic set up and very productive game for Zach and the receivers. If they activate Yeboah then hopefully they can find away to get him about 20-25 snaps also.

well like Saleh said the top three are Corey Davis, Jamison Crowder and Elijah Moore... Keelan Cole, Braxton Berrios and Jeff Smith are ahead of Mims because of his route running...

I expect this next game Corey Davis will still get 52 - 58 offensive snaps...
I expect Jamison Crowder also to get 52 - 58 offensive snaps...
I expect them to give another large chunk to Elijah Moore but not as many until he can get comfortable 46 - 51 offensive snaps...

Braxton Berrios possible to receive around the same 31 - 33 this time...
Keelan Cole coming back also has kick return duties will get 19 - 26 snaps on offense...
Jeff Smith like last week will receive no more than 5 offensive snaps...

Now because of that one catch they are going to give Mims a few more chances to be successful, not many but a few more he had 3 this week he could have 7 - 10 as long as he continues to produce he will get more...

Since the TEs are basically useless both Kroft & Griffin will get the majority of the offensive snaps at TE... With Wesco splitting time between TE and FB...

I expect because Cole and Crowder are back they will get a big role on offense... so someone will be hit on offense and they could also be inactive for the game both Jeff Smith and Denzel Mims could be that guys... Berrios is the punt returner he will be active... I hope Mims is active just because Bellicheat will do everything to take away our #1 receiver in Corey Davis which opens up opportunity for someone like Mims to take advantage of that situation...

Sounds about right. They are definitely seeing something negative in Mims that we are not. Every time he touches the field he balls out!
