i don't think LaFleur is an idiot play caller or he has a bad offensive system. I think that he needs to go upstairs into the box, so he can see all levels of the D and where the individual defenders are positioned in those levels.
both he and Zach are rookies and they each need easy plays to get things moving...but LF is taking a harder approach by being on the sidelines; you simply cannot see that stuff on the sidelines when you don't know what you're looking for.
i think Carter should get the ball early, but i also think we need to get Jet Sweeps going as a part of the running game. Then, let Ty pount them later after the D is softened...or Perine if we can ever get him healthy.
so our starting receivers should be:
Corey Davis
Denzel Mims
Jamison Crowder
with depth
Keelan Cole
Braxton Berrios
Jeff Smith
this could get interesting...
If Mims does what we think he can do he will open up things for both Crowder and Davis while forcing the defense to play off in coverage which should open up the run game and take pressure off the OL protection... Maybe they can finally figure things out and build that continuity we been praying for them to do to this point...
defense not a big deal, they are 1st in allowing passing touchdowns (1)... but that will change this week...

Im tired of watching WRs do the same crap over and over by not getting open. Its hard enough for Rookie QB going against top Defenses to try and hold ball for 5 seconds for WRs to get open. Even then with tight coverage Zach hits these Bums in the hands and they dont catch the damn ball. Hands of stones. I picked Jets to lose until Falcons thinking Team learning new system. But now its not the system 100% ,its the lazy WRs not getting open in 3 seconds and putting everything on rookie QB to make magic. Jets can make this close game if WRs do their jobs. Yes O Line has lazy hogs 30% of time allowing to bust through. Still WRs are biggest blame. Try 2 TE sets able to add protection and go out for pass when WRs finger themselves in butt.
They dont need them to beat our Jets. Run Forest Run!

whenever i flip to the 4pm game when we are on at 1pm or visa versa depending on our schedule, i see other teams's WR's running with daylight and open spots of field to work with.
the only thing i have seen since Schotty has been congestion in the passing lanes and multiple defenders around our WR's.
one notable exception was 2015.
was Fitz that good working with a OC who had some experience the difference?
is this something we can see too when Zach and LF get more experience?
would say stack 8 in the box to contain Henry problem is we don't 8 to use...

you are crazy, because our opponents that we play have their receivers running wide open all day long...
can't establish the run, can not hold the pass protection for more than 1.7 seconds, no time for the QB to find anyone because they are still jammed at the LOS...
Going out on a limb here….. but with both wideouts out… no Dupree and no punter, we may take this one. Just gotta stop Henry. So my DL is JFM, QW, Foley and Shaq Lawson over Huff ( better edge setter). Mosely is gonna have to play his ass off ….. If Mims can get some run time….. Davis may have a decent game. GVR will also need to get his head outta his ass. Have a feeling Lafluer may try some different things pertaining to Wilson this week. Gotta think Saleh and Lafluer have heard enough this week about how shitty they have been …….
What happened to Elijah Moore. Is he injured or you just forgot him? He should be the 4th WR in my opinion.

don't think so, now Mims is playing with Crowder and Corey Davis may even have Kroft in so we have 4 receiving options one has to get open...
run game still suspect give Gore 40 carries oh meant to say Coleman another year another waste of a position... Tevin was good at one time, then he got to the NFL and the saying not for long has been his career in a nut shell, don't remember if he ever made it through a season not injured...

I worked last Sunday and didn’t get a chance to watch it. I recorded it but there was no reason to look at it, in my opinion! I still have it recorded in fact. Maybe I’ll watch it 3-4 weeks from now.

stack offensive snaps for wins... what I mean throw over the middle to the running back or tight end then stretch the field down the sidelines to Mims or Cole even Davis... they need to run the ball, that doesn't mean Coleman on 20 carries in the first five minutes...
Ty Johnson is versatile with all features, let him feel out the defense, then from there game planning should be easier...
Yes I do agree they need Yeboah because when they take Tyler Kroft out we have no one to step up...
I would say deactivate Tevin Coleman for one game and activate Josh Adams, guarantee between Ty & MC and a little brute force of Adams the opposing defense should wear out quicker, that is my assumption... but what do I know, they were hired to a job but yet they have showed nothing, so maybe we as fans know more about this team and what they can or can not do on the field...
