the funny thing they have been doing that every game this season it just happened to be because the offense found their stride that everything looked better...
Agreed! Having the offense sustain a drive and get the defense is break, will allow them to play their best. Getting a lead and allowing them to pin their ears back and attack the QB was a nice change
It looks as though the idea of going with the young CBs is not killing us, in fact it might be incredibly smart. With the front providing the heat, they aren't getting exposed as much, and will keep the group cap numbers down while developing into solid defenders.
When the Jets drafted college safeties and said they were going to convert them to linebackers, I had a concern about how well they would hold up under the pounding from a physical, run oriented team. They seem to be holding up ok so far, but I wonder how much quickness they will still have toward the end of a grueling campaign. (Sorry, I'm starting to write like a newspaper reporter)

You are our Clark Kent....but lose the glasses
I was so frustrated with the defense this past Sunday. They were all over the place and all over Tannehill but couldn't seem to stop them when it counted most. I'm very proud of the team as a whole and know this will be a process but I didn't think or see our defense as being this good. I will admit they more have been holding their own so far this year, especially for such a young defense. Props to them!!!
