Jets Global
Tim Ward - 95.7
John Franklin-Myers - 78.3
Jamien Sherwood - 77.0

Nathan Shephard - 37.5
Sheldon Rankins - 40.6
C.J Mosely - 41.2

I redid the numbers actually they gave a better rating for Sheperd then I came up with 33.8...
Sheldon Rankins had 46.9...
They must really hate C.J. Mosley because his number is really low and the calculation a ran he was 62.4...
Again PFF the only source for these stats so bias can be attributed to final calculations... Note C.J. played all defensive snaps against the Falcons...

Tim Ward really flashed a couple of times. I remember Saleh saying that he had freakish athletic traits when we claimed him, and they showed in a couple of instances.

unrefined definitely but if they can get his technical aspect to above average with his athleticism he could be a game changer

Thinking about the '22 draft, I was all for drafting an edge guy in an early round. After seeing what we have with JFMyers, Huff and maybe Ward I think we might be ok there, particularly with Lawson coming back next year.

I am still unsure about C.J. Mosley could be traded after the season unless someone is willing to take on his contract now before the trade deadline... I believe both rookies Sherwood & Nasirildeen are going to take the next step... Two gems in Quincy Williams and Del'Shawn Phillips give us flexibility and promise with practice squad member Noah Dawkins... Add in the youth and potential of Jarrad Davis this linebacking core is pretty much set... Even if we move Mosley...

Up front is curious, with Lawson coming back throw in the new contract for JFM, we have a raw prospect in Ward & another up n coming EDGE in Huff... Folorunso Fatukasi, Nathan Sheperd, Sheldon Rankins are all free agents... What the Jets could do is kick JFM inside with Q. ...
Re-Sign Foley and Rankins while developing Marshall...

Key is how much will Huff improve by year's end? Like Ward he is a work n progress and could be situational pass rushers splitting time with the starters... I keep saying Joe Douglas ties with Philadelphia opens the door for Derek Barnett in FA to tandem with Carl Lawson...

Now don't forget about the Lawson, Shaq his contract is reduced this year $1.4 M but next year's cap charge is $9 M expect them to renegotiate with him to reduce that charge but they can drop him with no dead loss... I expect him to be back but at a reduced structure salary with an extension of one or two years...
