First gmf, you are not going to respect any Coach that doesnt have your back protecting Players from cheap shot injuries. I like this Coach, but he has to let his Team knows that he will not be ok with Pats crap. Pats never tried that with Rex because he let them know by his teams action of cheap shot twice. So until I know my Coach has my back by protecting all players career from dirty cheap shots...no Im not risking my career as a Player for a Coach like that.

Gas you gave us the answer.....A new coach ,,,Clint Eastwood. Look why would he care if baby face played or not. the kid was not going to do anything & at least White gave us some fun for a minute or two

It's amazing how this offense looked halfway decent once Opie left the field and how the defense looks competent with C J Mosley on the field as opposed to anyone else calling the defensive signals .

TE, TE, CENTER, right guard, right tackle, and a REAL fullback. As stated above.........if the damn offense could stay on the field for more than 3 plays the defense, which other than this last game isn't that bad, wouldn't get worn down so fast.

IMHO, RG, C, and RT need to be addressed with the first 3 picks...no excuses, and no band-aids.

Robert Saleh & Jeff Ulbrich are going to want to get a replacement if Joe Douglas trades Marcus Maye or he doesn't franchise tag him a second time, it opens the door as a NEED...

While still grabbing a right tackle in the 2nd round that will anchor the right side for years...
We don't need to draft a right guard this upcoming draft but getting a center and right tackle is a must...
McGovern still under contract next year, we also have Dru Samia and Chuma Edoga both under contract...

Isaiah Likely is the 5th best Tight End, and should be available in the 2nd round...
Trey McBride is another get in the third round...

Taking these players fixes the holes right away and allows the rebuild of the entire roster not just one area as you suggest...

Mekhi Becton, AVT, Tyler Linderbaum, (?), Darian Kinnard would give us literally the best Run blocking OL in the league while giving us a solid core pass blockers... (?) is open doesn't have to be a draft pick but if they choose to draft someone could be Tennessee's Cade Mays who would fill the void, but only way to do that is for Joe Doulgas to acquire another 3rd round pick...

As of right now the Jets have no more 6th round picks...
so take a chill pill...

I am 100% chilled.

just laughing at the prospect of taking another Safety with a top 10 pick; not necessarily at you! .

1.) with you on Linderbaum...all day long; although my heart isn't broken if he gets snagged and we get Jarrett Patterson from Notre Dame.
2.) with you on Kinnard or Faalele, or Penning...all 3 are maulers we can get in the second.
3.) just not with you on RG. "if" we get a combo of the aforementioned C + RT's, not having a top shelf RG makes them closer to well brands than top shelf...and we can get them in the 2nd.
4.) With you on Cade Mays too...who can also play C; i like that move a lot!

i guess my overall point is "fix the damn line", and we do not need this year to use our firsts (Linderbaum aside... unless you go with Patterson or Stromberg for that matter) to completely fortify it.

He is not Jamal Adams, who was regarded as a run support safety with average ball skills
here is the 2nd interception Kyle Hamilton had in the game against Florida State, not many Free Safeties can make that catch..

@skop after this year we will have two Tight Ends on the roster
Trevon Wesco entering his final year of his rookie deal
and
Kenny Yeboah an ERFA that will be automatically signed to the 90 - man roster...

Drafting two Tight Ends has to be in the cards as there are no free agent tight ends worth a damn this upcoming free agency...

I am looking at Kolar from IA State, and Calcaterra from SMU.
but i am also not sleeping on Yeboah...i have a feeling he is "Mims 2.0".

Mims 2.0 no...
Good receiver has good speed needs to work on route tree...
Has to work on technique for blocking both run and pass...
Mims can run block efficiently...

yes, the QB lofted a pass for him to run under...if that pass has a hint of spice on it, it's a FL State TD.
