He's 6'4" 220 lbs, not exactly a skin-flint and perhaps a super-hybrid OLB/S which takes him out of the S mold. His type has become very valuable in today's defenses where flexibility is key.
Both Mims and Yeboah are raw. They are way down on depth charts while we clearly have a team that should be giving O.J.T. to every youngster with a pulse. that is why he is indeed, Mims 2.0.
wanna develop route running skills? do it at game speed.
wanna develop in line and pass blocking? do it at game speed.
there is no reason that he should be behind any TE we have right now...zip, zilch, nada.

Trevon Wesco only found a home with the new coaching staff because they can line him up as fullback...
now of course Yeboah was a Joe Douglas free agent find but the new coaching staff has their guys they believe are superstars and will stay on the active roster for at least this year...
Yeboah was called up for one game of the two a practice squad player gets for the entire season...
Why I am saying this is he did not play one snap on offense nor get a snap on special teams...

Ashtyn Davis played corner mainly in college we drafted him and made him a safety...
rangy as fuck but football IQ less than average...
difference between him and Kyle Hamilton is Hamilton Football IQ is off the charts excellent... He is also like @Old#15 states perfect size to play a hybrid position for us where he can play safety but can come down in the box as a linebacker... His ball skills are unmatched the last fifteen years there hasn't been a diverse secondary player like him...
Jamal Adams never wanted him, thought he reminded me of Calvin Pryor oops another wash...
Marcus Maye has the talent but came out older than other prospects so his NFL longevity is shortened...
We have plenty of options to move players around but really look at this past draft we drafted two safeties on day three and converted them to linebacker, now can get a guy that can cover be that rangy linebacker while Nasirildeen more of run stopper and Jamien Sherwood is to be that Mike LB orchestrating the defense (yea I know he is on IR) but moving forward... They need to get a guy that can cover and replace the overpriced CJ Mosley...

i am not a keyboard know it all, but i have a few bucks to wager that a team whose TE spot is contributing zilch would be able to find a route or two for Yeboah...Same for Mims.
