Look White look like a QB today not a kid with candy cane in his mouth
I’m agreeing with you only because of the scheme may fit Mike better or Zach just hasn’t settled enough and learned what he should. At the end of the day it’s all about winning and they did win today. So if they win next week, that has to raise an eye brow. On talent alone it’s no comparison. Zach has much more talent than Mike or Sam. He just doesn’t have a grasp of the game yet.
I agreeand he can't complete a short pass
and that is a problem
a big problem if you ask me
Disagree . Opie Wilson needs the reps and the opportunity to prove that he’s not Hackenberg the sequel.White ran the offense correctly . Zach has not. Wilson should sit until White shits the bed
Of course he can. I think ZW gave a good explanation of the issues that he's had with the short passes, namely that he has been aiming and guiding them rather than just letting it rip the way he has his whole life. He'll be fine.and he can't complete a short pass

Lol, you can’t be serious! This isn’t 1980 or 1990 even. High drafted players don’t sit that long anymore, you know that! This regime won’t get three years if they sit Zach for three years and please don’t tell me you think Mike White is the answer? If he was, he would have revealed this within himself long before this.White sat 3 years. Wilson should sit 3 years.
Well, I’d like to say this and of course I could be wrong that players make their own opportunities. Mike White was drafted by the Cowboys if I’m correct and cut somewhere along the line. He was then picked up by the Jets, if he didn’t play for another team before us and he was on and off our practice squad for about two years with us. I would think, especially with our team with all the quarterback headaches over the pass years that Mike White would’ve created his own opportunity by now. We’ll see what happens from here!White was poised and accurate, and seemed to really see the field well and go through his progressions. Even the two INTs were ricochets off the intended receivers We'll see how he does in the upcoming games but I disagree with the idea that "If he did [have what it takes to be a starter] , I would think it wouldn’t of taken three years to find this out." Robert Saleh is very fond of saying that often the difference between backups and starters in the league is opportunity. I still think that Zach Wilson is going to become a great QB, but we shouldn't dismiss Mike White out-of-hand because he hasn't previously had an opportunity like this.
Why bust up our dream????? Play fair.....I mean Ch has not had a dream this good in years......well a dry one that is!Lol, you can’t be serious! This isn’t 1980 or 1990 even. I believe Mike and the Jets offense caught the Bengals off guard and that’s why they beat them. From the start of the game the Bengals assumed the Jets were going to run because he was a back up and they focused on that. The Jets caught them off guard with like 12 passes in the first 15 plays, all scripted. Mike White said that in his post game press conference. Lafleur figured the Bengals would key on the run because Mike was a back up.
Now I’d say if the Jets beat the Colts this week and whomever else they play the week after. Or if they lose but play very competitive then we may really have something to think about here. At most, maybe they should sit Zach the rest of the year and let him watch and learn. Other than that, there’s no way Zach sits for three years. Only reason Aaron Rodgers sat for three years is because he was sitting behind a proven first ballot HOFer. Mike White is not that!
I’m guessing that the defenses have film to look at on White and they can better prepare for what he’ll bring to the table. This will most likely show itself this Thursday against the Colts. Mike is a very good back up QB but I’m not quite sure he has what it takes to be a full time starter. If he did, I would think it wouldn’t of taken three years to find this out.

Man, I would love a QB controversy! The Jets with two good QBs at the same time?
I would be in heaven!

I may have missed it, but do we have splits on ZW's performance in the pocket and out? One thing also to consider is that the OL is playing much better in the last three games than earlier in the season.no White did run and execute the game plan correctly...
Wilson is better on the move, and reason he moves the pocket... He does well when standing tall, but he often improvises which gets him into trouble...
