they say to develop the players on the offense but reality is to show they can win a game...
if it is about developing players remember Elijah Moore finally scored rushing touchdown and receiving touchdowns with Mike White not Zach Wilson...
Flacco and White are the same QB…. Only Flacco throws a better ball. Both tall and cant move. It’s really irrelevant anyway….. if Zach ain’t starting….. who gives a shit. Saleh needs a win because I think he is losing the locker room at this point. I’m really starting to think we start all over again next year.. JD will be here…… but the CS wont be …. I hate to see a 1 and done scenario….. but I’m not sure Saleh was really Woody’s guy from the start. If we do flip the table on the CS, its gonna be hard getting anyone of quality to coach this team. The only saving grace is Woody is cheap and wont want to pay Saleh to not coach. Personally, I think Saleh will be back, but JD and Woody will force him to bring in a new OC and DC, which may lead him to quit. That gets Woody off the hook ……

HC stated playing Joe Flacco will help to develop the young talent... Meaning MC & Moore, AVT, etc...
But Mike White when he was the QB Elijah Moore got his first rushing touchdown, and 3 receiving touchdowns...
what I am saying is with Mike White they did produce this move is out of desperation by the coaching staff trying to win...

My son just texted me about this. This makes zero sense. no one wants to see Flacco play right now. no one wanted to sign him either. and I like Flacco. just meaningless senseless move

unless you factor in trying to win a game for his and his staff's sake, there is nothing to be gained by this.

a.) do you want to win a game or two to complete the season? or" b.) do you want to lose out the rest of the way, but play ALL of the kids and see them get better?
...you get "b" all day long.
So to summarize, he is trying to win games at the expense of rebuilding the team so he can save his skin "while" the fans will be calling for his skin for doing something detrimental to the development of the rebuild.

Miami is a known blitzing defense, which the Jets haven't really faced yet this year.
Flacco has faced this kind of defense before , and would probably know how to deal with it better than White.
Wilson will learn more for watching Flacco in this game than he would watching White.

Just when I thought I couldn't care less about the Jets.
Well I would say playing these young kids that might just suck so we can get a better draft position is equally as stupid as playing Flacco. Losing is contagious.
He's like Prozac , takes all the fun out of being depressed!!!
