those are stats of a true WR1 no matter the size of the receiver it is how they produce week in week out that vaults their depth chart status...

also to the fact the other receiver a free agent signing has produce more drops and excuses then catches this season...

Jets need to find more gems through the draft to keep building the entire roster but this receiving core...

have to wonder what is going on here... Corey Davis is a no show on game days and Denzel Mims is in timeout... Even Jamison Crowder has been limited... Jeff Smith was active but no where to be found... I'll be dammed we had tight end play from Ryan Griffin not consistent but he showed up...

Corey Davis is a waste of money. The Jets will be drafting another WR again because JD blew the Mims pick. Now can Moore have this good of a game when Wilson is QB since he likes Davis so much.

Disagree . He’s what he is and it’s good enough for 2nd banana on this team . We really need Mims to become a stable part of this receiving core .

He's just a shitty 2nd banana on most teams.
The guys is the leading receiver on a team which has started or played 4 different QBs in the season. It’s also the 1st year in a completely new system under a new coaching staff. If you ask me and nobody has, I think the guy’s doing a solid job. Considering who we have signed at WR for next season if Mims can become a part of this rotation, we will have a decent compliment with the ability to add and hopefully improve upon it . I like James Washington from the Steelers.

There are some very good WRs in the draft also, but first and foremost we need a RT/RG and TEs to continue the fix on offense. We should be able to complete the rebuild on offense in this next draft/FA. JD did a great job with selecting three immediate contributors if not impact players in Moore, Carter and AVT. Provided Wilson shakes the rookie rust, this will be a home run of a draft for one side of the ball.

I disagree. We’re building a team, not a unit . We have to have that special edge rusher and Thibideau is that guy . I know that we can build this team with core players that we will be able to keep . Imagine having Thibideau and Lawson coming off the edges with the two Williams brothers and a developing secondary . Both units could be special for years to come .
If it’s me I get the edge rusher and target the Center for the offensive line . We can always find a quality RT .

The good out of this game, includes running back Michael Carter and receiver Elijah Moore, both of whom again looked good in Sunday’s 24-17 loss to the similarly awful Dolphins at MetLife Stadium.

we are building groups of units to build a team...

can not continue to stack positions already heavy...

sorry @Tinstar but we don't need another DE (EDGE)

we have bigger holes on this roster than taking another DE to add to our already overstock position...

So the Jets never had a rookie receiver exceed 400 yards in a season yet Elijah Moore sitting at 415 this year... This kid is special and now he is soaring, expect big things and maybe even hit 1000 yards receiving is not out of the realm of possibility with 7 games left... Regardless he has elevated his stock and probably depth chart position to WR1 overtaking Corey Davis who was signed here to be that guy...

Jets have a nice blend of size/speed at WR - Davis is fine and not overly expensive. He is who he is and fits in. Moore is special and what we need now is for Zach to get back and find him out there - the deeper patterns will happen with a better OL, so that may not be until 2022. For now, keep being creative in getting him the ball.

I really like that motion play/swing pass to Moore....gets him with going with a head of steam and facing the defense to find daylight.

have to hope Carter not hurt bad - w/o him it just puts more eyes/hands on Moore to stop.

People gives to much props to the “#1” receiver credo . I want a team where the QB throws to the open receiver not the guy who’s pegged as the #1 .

This team needs Mims to step forward before the season ends so we don’t have to go out and get one via the draft.

I don't see Moore as a #1, more as a slot with Davis as a #2 and Mims playing elsewhere next year. With possibly 2 top 15 picks in next years draft. A combination of one of these three (C, RG, RT) and #1 WR in the 1st Rd. Throw in a TE and another OL in Rd #2 and our Offense can be set for years. Defensive players can be added in the 3rd, 4th, 5th Rds and next years draft.
