The way Fant has played this year, I really don’t think Becton can improve on that. I wonder if Becton (or his agent) would agree to this ? I know there is a big difference in $$$$ between the 2 positions. What say ye ???

has stated that Mekhi Becton will play left tackle when he comes back from injury...

what we say doesn't matter...

and doesn't make sense, to give up on him because another player his own team mate caused him to be injured...

George Fant will move to RT when Becton is back replacing Moses who has been less than decent...

LDT was the improvement we needed at RG and the play on the right side has been up and down moving Fant back to the right side could stabilize the line for the remainder of the year...

Not to mention when Edoga played both right or left he was efficient too...

We have the right players mostly...

Agree and if Becton does manage to make it back before season ends we might just see that happen.

I wanna see the beasts on the left side come together and open up not just rushing lanes by highways for MC to come back and run well walk through... even Ty, Tevin and now Austin will be able to run left and succeed with big chunks of change rather run right and hit a brick wall...

have to wonder promoting Austin Walter to the active roster means that they are not rushing Michael Carter back even if he is healthy...

also have to wonder what this means for La'Mical Perine? are they going to shop him or just cut him after the season...

I think they want to see if Walter can be consistent with the level of play he has demonstrated as well as giving Carter a well deserved rest. In regards to Perine........based on how little they use him, I think this is the end of his Jets career.

I think they want to see if Walter can be consistent with the level of play he has demonstrated as well as giving Carter a well deserved rest. In regards to Perine........based on how little they use him, I think this is the end of his Jets career.

Got to be something behind the scenes with Perine. Had a good year last year and looked good in the preseason. Has to be a reason he is riding the bench.
