Why can’t we all just get along.
Since I don’t see “the big picture” well, I also truly hope we beat the Bills next week (just as I was passionately rooting for a win today)....Hopefully they can beat the Bills.
Play call 4th down 2 ---All good man I'm just frustrated after that loss. Watching the Houston game now.
yep I know, me...We all used to. There is a single common denominator.
We need the position for trade options for this year and future years . Someone just might want that 4th pick for a QB and we can continue to add quality this year and next and keep it going .Since I don’t see “the big picture” well, I also truly hope we beat the Bills next week (just as I was passionately rooting for a win today)....
The kids need to experience Ws and develop some swag. We know we won’t pick a QB in 2022, so why are a couple of spots in the draft order THAT crucial?! We have plenty of attractive picks to work with anyway.
"Winners always want the ball... when the game is on the line."Play call 4th down 2 ---
was suppose to be a reverse to Berrios that Zach Wilson decided to call his own number...
Hero mentality right there...
lack of communication from coaches they wanted the ball to go to Berrios
but it is what it is...
in ZW mind how the hell are you going to QB sneak for 2 yards, even he should be able to comprehend that does not make sense unless you are playing Madden...
even tho coaches want to ball to go elsewhere did he ignore it or did they not communicate with him properly and he chose to keep the ball on a ridiculous 4th down and 2 QB sneak? like I said we will never know..."Winners always want the ball... when the game is on the line."
-Coach Jimmy McGinty(Gene Hackman)
With the day Berrios had he should have been given the chance to win or lose that game . I don’t have an issue that we lost but I wish I was still clueless about the options. . I beginning to love this Wilson pick but there’s something about him that’s Jay Cutlerish .even tho coaches want to ball to go elsewhere did he ignore it or did they not communicate with him properly and he chose to keep the ball on a ridiculous 4th down and 2 QB sneak? like I said we will never know...

You’re not wrong . I would not have minded if we won . I just am not upset with the outcome. The players at the top of this draft scare me but the depth is ridiculous. We can let teams have they choice of those potential bust while we take they mid round picks and add quality starters, depth and future assets to our team . .Sure, and I would normally root in favor of that math, but I view this year's draft a little differently for us. We ought to be able to plug in ~4 holes with high-quality starters with the rank and number of our current picks in the first three rounds. Then, if we find one or two gems further down, we should be expected to be very competitive (assuming we don't screw up free agency completely).
Also, with no pronounced QB jewels, there might not be such an attractive market for a 4th overall (vs 6th overall, for example).
I may be wrong here, but I am definitely putting excess value on finishing the season on a strong note (with a win or two to show for) compared to avoiding a drop in the draft order by a couple of spots. This franchise has been has been totally devoid of gaining-confidence wins for way too long.
Jets fought hard but just couldn’t keep the lead! Lots of mistakes towards the end of that game and plenty of blame to go around. Dropped passes, especially that third down, up and out by K. Cole. Blown 4th and 2 call by Saleh but then again if they would have converted it would have been genius. Blown pass coverages etc.etc…
Keep fighting Jets, you’ll get there!!!
So you’ve given up on the 2020 draft class already . Top 3 picks are still questionable and the bottom 2 are solid . The middle 4 is an issue but every single player is still on the roster heading into the final game of the 2021 season .At least the Jets are trying when they know they have an awful record. Last couple years felt way different. Makes you have some hope, but JD has to knock this draft out of the park. He has had one good draft and one bad.

I think I will wait until after next season or after the final roster is formalized for the 2022 season before deciding on the 2020 draft class .
Oh and I would love to bring captain Morgan to camp in the summer
I’m pretty sure Ashton Davis isn’t going anywhere and probably neither is Mims . Becton is the wildcard for sure. Not sure why everyone thinks I just give up on everyone. I usually just say what I know at the moment. Only two at the moment worth a shit are Hall and Mann. Becton is the wild card. Rounds 2-4 should and probably will be cut.

Didn’t like him but wasn’t a big Becton fan either so there’s thatYou are right Mims is going nowhere. As in won't ever amount to anything as a Jets WR. As far as Becton, Wirfs should have been the pick.
