in retrospect, and hindsight being 20/20, they did score and convert the 2 point conversion, so in theory...they still win, "and" we give them a shorter field to do it.
i guess that it could be argued that if we do go up by 7, we can play 100% prevent, but that just makes TB12's job even easier.
it wasn't a bad decision just a bad relay from OC to QB
should of been stated hand the ball off
we will never learn the truth about that call, so leave it at that...

They went twice didn’t make it except for the refs
If that game went into OT and they lost because no FG attempts they’d be calling to fire his ass (Zac Taylor) on the spot

it makes complete sense even if we don't get it...they have score a TD and it puts them 97 yards away.
19/33, 234 passing yards, 1 TD/0 INTs, QB Rating of 89.7 was a very electric performance for a Rookie QB (only 1 sack) and Zach Wilson had his team in position to beat Tom Brady and his Buccaneers while up 14.
Oh yeah. As a Rookie he's already gone 4 consecutive games without an INT.

Sam Darnold has been in the league for 4 years now and has never ONCE played 4 consecutive games without an INT. Zach Wilson already has. And as a Rookie too.
Zach Wilson has gone 9 consecutive games without throwing multiple INTs as only a Rookie but Sam Darnold? He's NEVER gone 9 consecutive games without multiple INTs and he's now in his 4th year!

I think Zach made a bad call mainly because he was given an option. I also think that Bart Scott has an issue with him for some reason. I think Zach wanted to atone for the the way the Jets got lucky vs the Titans. He had a chance late to put the game away and missed a wide open short pass I think to a TE that would have scored a TD.
i think you're correct on Bart and a perceived beef with Zach.
Where are the criticisms on Mims not being able to crack the line up?
where are the criticisms on Becton for turning an 8 week injury into a season long injury?
The list is long as to which he can share his vitriol, but he manages to save it for #2...at the same time, any leniencies he grants towards others are not afforded to Zach.
i love his X's and O's dissection...he is very good. But i do not like his commentary when he applies motives; very picky & very choosey.
Oh for the love of God man . Zach Wilson was the 2nd pick in the entire draft . Bart Scott was an I drafted free agent. Scott has earned the right to criticize any player . He overcame the odds and had a solid NFL career .

there are more to their circumstances then not being able to crack the line up
getting injured, having surgery then physically recovering is one thing but there is a mental state that goes along with it especially for man that big he needs to trust that his surgically repaired knee will do the job that he needs it to be... talking about football shape he was getting back into game shape but there was that bit of uncertainty in his plants and cuts... the coaches saw that, and decided to hold him out not like they needed him on the field they want him for the long term not to throw him back when he clearly wasn't ready...
as for Mims there are so many issues, but main one is he needs to put more focus on the little tasks in practice and be more consistent when he improves he will get his shot... But they believe he will need a full off season complete tear down of his skills and rebuild his body of work then hope with his athleticism and functional play strength would be an asset to the already young receiving core...
Gotta tell you that it’s because of the information you provide that allows me to adjust how I scout prospects for this Jet team .
It’s been a long time coming but I’m so happy that this team is finally drafting for fit instead of the BPA crap which caused us to take players we didn’t need simply because they were the highest rated player on the board .
If the player doesn’t fit what we do why take him and make a bust .
Bart Scott not only has a problem with Wilson but Joe Burrow as well for pouring it on his beloved Ravens and being smug about it in a post game press conference. In this instance, I believe on ESPN's Get up, Scott went as far as to predict that the Ravens should/will purposely injure Burrow. Scott has a voice that is heard across the country by young kids playing the game and he needs a filter because that is crossing the line between being controversial and dangerous. After hearing that rant I lost all respect.

as much you learn, I hope there is enough here to figure out or discuss how they may go in free agency and the draft...
