he is 35 and two more years and progress from the offense will get him an opportunity at a head coaching gig...

don't get it wrong some dumb team desperate will look for the next hot shit to hopefully take their team to the promise land and just like that he will be gone...
Who’s his quality control assistant ? Who’s in the pipeline on the roster that we can promote when that inevitably happens? Someone that won’t go with him to become his de facto offensive coordinator.
The only thing that matters is completing Wilson’s development in this system.
agreed I just want to see him get real traction and consistency. GMF is right the pedigree and someone looking for the next great mind will dial ML up. I expect it sooner rather than later, maybe after next season.
that all depends on the outlook of our offense, if we go from basically last to first he is gone...
if we go from last to progressing middle of the pact he sticks around...
but what happens when he gets that chance does he jump on it, he be a fool not too but what happens to our offense?

There has to be someone in the pipeline. There always is . I think I’m going to check our coaching staff .
Let him stick around for 2 more years and I think we could have 2 candidates in house who could continue this course of development.

There will be a lot of assistants on the street after the post-season coaching purges.
While that is true, I really want continuity within one scheme for this QB. If we’re going to build something, let’s build it right and strong .
Agree 100%, but I'm thinking of young guys for the pipeline not scheme changers.
There's also the college coaching ranks.
The two guys I mentioned above are both young and on our current staff . One(Mack) has coordinator experience at the college level and strangely was on Adam Gase’s coaching staff apparently. Jets must like what he has to offer .

I think Brown was on greg Williams staff. Didn't he hire him as a LB coach?
