from what I believe the value of 5.9 per is slightly over 23, I could see them offer him 26 over 4 with guarantees of 14 in the first three leaving the 4th team friendly opt out to cut him with no dead loss basically a 3 year $19.5 M with $14 M guaranteed I think everyone would accept that type of deal

A former free agent who gets the opportunity to walk away from football having made 20mil . I should think so but folks get mad greedy nowadays.

he is 25, sign this deal keep producing and maybe can earn another deal after three years, maybe 1 - 3 years on another one...

either way I could care less if he stays...

we can draft Jayden Reed from Michigan State WR/KR/PR
we can draft Jerrion Ealy from Mississippi RB/WR/KR/PR

like I said we have options...

PS: Thnx you for that insider information because if Braxton's camp wants $8M per year my camp then wants nothing to do with him.
then you didn't read my reply to what the counter offer will be...
in the end maybe Joe Douglas can finagle Berrios in accepting that 4 year deal $26 M with $14 M gtd in the 1st 3 years which is roughly 60% gtd -- leaves open to release him after three or renegotiate him in a new deal... only 25 will be 26 this would benefit both camps but it is a matter of time and we will see... some team may overpay for him, but we know JD won't...

WR opportunity as our WR #5 before overpaying Braxton Berrios as our soon to be #5 WR.
can't think like that...

they will give Mims that opportunity but we can not bank on him succeeding or failing...
they need to add to the roster because nowadays it is not just injuries that are concern...
covid, becomes a big issue and the availability of these players are now a bigger worry...
you stack the talent if and when you can get it... Ty Johnson, Tevin Coleman also returners outside Berrios, and both contributed as such...
adding Berrios is a security move, because with all the injuries and covid situations he was our 5th/6th receiver who started some games and was thrust into playing a large amount of offensive snaps and special teams... need those type of players, but don't over pay them...

I love the gadget plays and special teams, BUT he struggled in man to man coverage.....but all of this is easy to understand- most of it posturing....just as long as neither side gets delusional. He is to me a unique fit with the Jets and his value could go down elsewhere....but his agent has to market him as a league wide asset. I can't see any team paying him $8m/per

Miami easily filled Wes Welker's "Miami Shoes" too...but never got what be became filled.
Edeman's production was easily replaced until he became Welker.

i asked my son over and over..."do you miss Crowder?". #10 replaced him quick like!

i would hate for NE to gift wrap us a dink and dunk ball hog specialist only for us to gift wrap him to someone who turns him into one of the aforementioned ball hogs.

5 to 6 over 4... 12 to 14 bonus. "Git 'er done".
