NO - fuck that old buzzard........ruined me.......but in truth over the years as i came to learn the game more, I blame Todd for sucking lol

A lot of coaches back in the day pulled the same dirty tricks that Shula did. The funny thing is, if it happened to Shula, he'd be whining like a little baby about it. *coughs snowplow game*

Todd only threw 89 passes in his senior year in college.
I remember those days at Shea when the stadium would demand that Matt Robinson start.
Todd came to Jets as a QB with great running ability......and it showed....he ran a lot for those days like some others - Grogan for one. Problem for Richard was he wasn't prepared for the passing game of NFL. Guy was color blind at times......and left us with two heartbreaking playoff crushers.....BUF at Shea and then the Mud Bowl the next season. I still can't shake that INT to Bill Simpson in front section of endzone as Gaffney was streaking across the back where it was headed.....a crusher after being the 1st Jets playoff game in my life I could watch/remember. opening kickoff fumble........couldn't stop Joe Freaking Ferguson...and who can forget the Ferguson fumble, then Gastineau couldn't pick it up and ultimately that drive was a Ferguson TD pass. This shit is still branded in my memories. Game was played in slop as well. Late comeback fell short but that damn stadium was literally shaking
I was there two but harper fumble , two dropped tds from walker /the gas fumble failure. I think Todd played very well. Plus the rush was not there in the first half. Todd wins ,& we win the super bowl.......maybe
Such a roller coaster with Todd. Stirs up a lot of emotion. Lost more than He won, at least in the big games. Played well in some of those losses but some He did not. I don't know how to feel about Todd honestly. Part of me wants to hug him, the other wants to hit him...lol. Curse of being a Jet Fan I guess.
Again, I think he was good. walker dropping two bombs that would have been TD,s Gas trying to run before he had the ball & Harpers fumble lost the game he could have won that 81 game by 10 or more points. 82 we was robbed
