I grew up in South Ozone Park off of 118th St. (same exact block as P.S. 100) and still to this day miss and crave John's Pizzeria off of Lefferts Blvd (best pizza in all of NYC).

What section of Queens did you move to?

I moved to Forest Hills, but am familiar with South Ozone Park as i worked in the Rockaways and passed thru there enroute to work.

I grew up in Manhattan, a few subway stops from the Polo Grounds, but the Titans hadn't been born yet. I lived in Flushing when they were and went to the PG, and later to Shea to see them reborn as the Jets.
I live in Connecticut now and it's a long ride to Jersey.

I went a few times to Severino's Bakery on 101st Ave. for their Italian pastries. Was told John Gotti liked their stuff too.

Yeah John Gotti and his Gambino crime family had a stranglehold on our Ozone Park.

When I went to Sparks Steak House I asked for seating in the non-shooting section.

Grew up near 46 Ave and Utopia Pkwy. Pizza Garden had the best pizza in the World. Retired near Ft Bragg, NC. No Jet fans here. Just Super Bowl fans. Whoever makes the Super Bowl, all of sudden they become die hard fans, till next season.
